Weekly Short-Short Note: 'Sharp Chikuwa'
Great Shaving Forest Cat
They inhabit the deep forests of the Sumatra islands and are about 50cm in length. They look like cats, but because they have extremely sharp fangs, they are called 'Forest Nyangs'.
They are nocturnal and very cautious, so to capture them, you must set traps at night.
What is their favorite food? Well, it's chikuwa. They especially love the highest-grade chikuwa from Odawara. Why they prefer Japanese chikuwa is unknown.
They use their sharp fangs and claws to shave the chikuwa while they eat it. When they finish eating, a sharp chikuwajust like a nail is created. They hold the finished sharp chikuwa in their mouths and use it to intimidate enemies. Of course, since it is chikuwa, no matter how sharp it is, it has zero lethality.
Now, let's check the trap we set last night.

Ah, I forgot to mention something important. They coat the tip of the sharp chikuwa with a deadly poison they produce inside their bodies, so you shouldn't touch it...

Ah, I was too late.
'Come on everyone, come here. Today's food is ready!'

It was a quite difficult prompt. I thought about various things, but it ended up being a story only a cat would understand.
The ending turned out to be scary 😅
