The God of Habits vs. Super Saiyan
Everyone loves Dragon Ball.
Everyone must have practiced the Kamehameha when they were a child. Even if we couldn't fire a Kamehameha, we seriously wished we could at least use the Flight technique. After all, even Yamcha, the weakest of them all, could use it.
And of course, we all aspired to be Super Saiyans.
Spiking up our golden hair and wrapping our entire bodies in a golden aura. The number '50 times the combat power' also sounded somehow incredible.
Anyway, we would put so much strength into our bodies that it felt like our blood vessels were about to burst,
screaming 'Wooooooooh!'
or we would learn that to get stronger, we just needed to increase gravity, so we'd go to a home improvement store looking for a gravity device, only to confuse the middle-aged clerk.
Of course, these are fond memories now, but when I really think about it, I never understood why the depiction involved hair standing on end.
And now, 30 years later, I feel like I've finally figured out that mystery, so I want to record it here.
My second son (a two-year-old) is still wearing diapers.
I often see him after meals, not in the toilet, but straining wherever he likes in the living room to do his business.
While watching him, I understood the process of how the poop comes out.
Stage one:
He strains, going 'Nnnngh'.
Stage two:
His face turns bright red and he starts trembling.
Stage three:
His hair stands up from the roots, making him look like a hedgehog.
Do you see it now?
When you think about it, it's the same as a Super Saiyan.
I don't know of any other moment in daily life where hair stands on end.
Even I, no matter how much I strain, might poop, but my hair doesn't stand up.
Therefore, Toriyama-sensei must have gotten the idea from watching his own child poop. The fact that Arale-chan is always poking poop with a stick is the best proof of this.
And today, my Super Saiyan is running away again because he doesn't want his diaper changed after pooping.
I would like to put this story behind me as soon as possible.
I wanted to enter Nami-san's 'Kusekore' project, so I wrote this based on my son's quirk.
Nami-san, I'm sorry for being late!
So, without further ado, here is today's quirk.
My second son's hair stands up when he poops
Actually, when I see him standing still in the distance and look closely to see his hair standing up, I think, 'Ah, he's working hard on his poop,' which is quite funny.
Now, this is sudden, but how many times have I written the word 'poop' so far?
I've posed a mini-quiz, the kind I hate most when asked of me. I really hate the 'How old do I look?' question.
By the way, the answer, including the one in the question, was 9x💩.
I've collected more 'poops' than quirks. Please be aware that if you collect 10, they will turn into one big poop.
