Why Am I So Tired? The Structure of a 'Hyper-Considerate Society' in Human Relationships
Why am I so tired?
It's not like anything major happened.
It's not like I had a huge fight with anyone.
It's not like I'm being worked to death.
And yet, I feel heavy.
That's not because you are weak.
It's because you have been
“calibrating your nerves” the whole time.
We now live in a society built on the premise of constant coddling.
“Someone who is considerate = an adult”
“Someone who is provocative = lacking consideration”
There is an atmosphere like that.
So, unconsciously,
・Someone who might be hurt
・Someone who needs consideration
・Someone who might break if provoked
is how you view the other person.
And then, you adjust.
Conversations go like this.
Empathy.
Reassurance.
A cushion.
And then, the main point.
This is also a form of kindness.
But at the same time,
it is also a world where you must constantly wrap things in bubble wrap.
You are surely doing this:
・Thinking about how not to rub the other person's emotions the wrong way
・Calculating what order will allow them to receive it
・Diluting the raw message a little
・Lowering the intensity
You do this every single time.
Everyone does it.
But if you do it all the time, you get tired.
It's not because you're cold.
It's because you are,
trying to manage the other person's feelings as well.
Ideally, a conversation is 50:50.
But,
the moment you start taking on the burden of
“how the other person feels,”
it approaches 100:0.
That is heavy.
Naturally, it drains you.
And one more thing.
You assume the other person is an adult.
So you offer them the undiluted truth.
That is a form of respect.
But if the other person is living with a
“coddle-me-first OS,”
that becomes an irritant.
Defensiveness arises.
Every time you see that defensiveness, you use up more mental energy.
This, too, leads to further exhaustion.
In short.
The reason you are tired is not because of weakness or a lack of empathy.
It is because you are living with high sensitivity in a society of excessive neural adjustment.
You are constantly calculating in silence.
Real-time neural computation.
No wonder you are exhausted.
If you want to feel a little more at ease.
Stop making 'how the other person feels' your responsibility.
Neither of you is at fault.
It is just that when premises do not align, people use more neural energy than necessary.
You just need to offer things carefully.
Whether they accept it or not is in the other person's domain.
Just by separating those two things,
your neural exhaustion will decrease significantly.

that might be a sign that your inner self is beginning to move.

I conduct co-creation sessions where I observe, one-on-one, the hesitation, discomfort, and wavering happening within you right now—not as 'emotions,' but as 'structure.'
It is okay if you cannot speak well.
It is okay if things are not organized.
Please bring your current state just as it is.
