Trust Is Not a Subscription—Quietly Observing the "Certification Culture"

Honestly, I've always thought about this.
You often see "official certified accounts" or "verification badges" on various blog sites and social media.
Why do we have to apply for that ourselves?

After all, medals and MVP awards aren't things you ask for yourself, right?
They are things you receive as a result of evaluation by others, aren't they?

I understand if a legitimate company submits financial documents or track records to be certified as a "trustworthy company."
That is a procedure for social transparency.

But, "pay a monthly fee, become a member, and get a certification badge"...
I can't help but wonder, is that really transparent?
Is "trust" now a subscription service too? (laughs)

🧩 What is "Certification Culture"?

Looking at it calmly, I think it's simply a "mechanism to sell a sense of security."
It uses the structure that "being recognized by the management equals safety" to cleverly tickle people's "desire for approval" and "desire for belonging."

Of course, I'm not saying that's bad.
However, trust is not something that can be bought with money, and I believe it is something that can only be cultivated through
time and consistency.

🌿 The atmosphere where you can't put into words that something feels "off"

I think there are probably quite a few people who feel the same sense of unease.

But many people just swallow it for reasons like:
・Because everyone else is doing it
・Because it feels safe when they say it's "official"
・Because questioning it makes you look "critical"

That is precisely why I cannot simply ignore that "vague sense of discomfort."

💬 I write on note, but I'm also just observing the structure of note (laughs)

Rather than "using" the platform called note, I write with the feeling of "observing" it.

What catches my eye in other people's posts are things like:
"How to earn tens of thousands of yen a month on note!"
"You can't earn money if you don't use this feature on note!"
"These are the trending topics on note right now!"
and so on.

I don't know at all "how to use it to grow," and in fact, I don't look at that kind of information at all (laughs)

I'm just curious about the "structure" itself, like:
"Why is this mechanism the way it is?"
"How do people feel in this atmosphere?"

🌕 Where does trust actually come from?

Surely, trust exists outside of badges and systems.
It's not about "who recognized you," but rather "how consistently you have been present."

That's why I want to continue depicting the world in my own words, calmly, even without being certified.
Even if I don't get a badge, I believe that transparency will surely be conveyed.

I think that accumulation of quiet consistency is what "trust" really is.
