Is the Unconscious a Talent? How to Align Your Nerves to Cultivate the 'Power to See'

[Archived Edition] Why Do You Feel Like You're Not Being Understood? A Structural Explanation of Seeing the Gap Between Tatemae and Honne in the Unconscious
.
Having read this far,
you might be thinking, "So, is it ultimately just a talent?"
Admittedly, some differences are bound to occur.
Do you remember the three elements that determine the precision of the unconscious, which we organized in Chapter 3
▶ Why Are There 'People Who Notice' and 'People Who Don't'? Three Elements That Divide the Precision of the Unconscious
?
1. Original Sensitivity
2. Observation Volume
3. Verbalization Muscle Strength
Original sensitivity has individual differences, just like hearing or vision.
To some extent, this is a difference in "specifications."
However—
that is not the only thing that determines precision.
Observation volume and verbalization muscle strength can be developed later.
For example.
Don't just end it with "something feels off."
・What was different?
・The voice? The timing? The choice of words?
・What did I react to?
Just pausing for a brief moment is enough.
It's okay if you can't explain it well.
It's enough to just form a hypothesis like, "Maybe it's this."
If you repeat that,
unconscious processing will gradually become something you can "see."
However—
There is one important point here.
It is the orientation of your nerves.
Don't you encounter situations like this in conversation as well?
Someone who keeps talking about themselves one-sidedly.
That person,
is actually emitting a lot of unconscious information.
The intensity of their voice.
The lack of pauses.
The speed of their breathing.
Their choice of words.
But at the same time,
they are not picking up much of the other person's unconscious information.
Why?
Because their nerves are oriented inward, not outward.
I want to convey this.
I want you to understand.
I don't want to be rejected.
When that energy is strong,
emission is prioritized over observation.
Of course, that is not necessarily a bad thing.
It can liven up a situation, and if it functions as an enjoyable conversation, then that is fine.
However,
in terms of dealing with the unconscious, it becomes a bit difficult.
Conversely,
When you calm down just a little and set yourself aside,
you become able to see the outside world more clearly.
From 'wanting to be seen' to 'seeing'.
The power of unconscious translation
is actually deeply related to this shift.
Rather than training it, you align its direction.
Instead of adding more sensors, you turn the sensors you already have outward.
On top of that,
you repeat your observations and put them into words.
That is how the precision gradually increases.
The difference is determined not so much by the amount of willpower or effort,
but by 'where you have kept your nerves directed'.
It is less about a special ability and more about how you handle it.
Not 'how much you are putting out,' but 'how much you are receiving'.
So then—
why does the precision differ from person to person?
That difference is,
It is not a matter of talent,
but perhaps a difference in 'how you have survived'.
Those who had no choice but to strengthen their inner selves to adapt to their environment.
Those who ensured their safety by reading the outside world.
Those who maintained the situation by sensing the state of others more than themselves.
The precision of the unconscious
sometimes grows as a 'byproduct of adaptation'.
Next,
I will delve a little deeper into the structure behind that.

▶ Chapter 6 | The reason why you don't feel happy even though you are successful
This discussion about the 'power to see' does not actually end with individual issues.
The same structure appears directly in your work and life decisions.
1️⃣ I feel unfulfilled. What is happiness?
▶ The reason why 'it should be fine' never goes away
2️⃣I don't know if I should keep working like this
▶ In the AI era, 'those who haven't decided' will stall
3️⃣Even if I feel relieved, I return to anxiety again
▶ The true nature of a design where 'not enough' never ends
4️⃣Why do I feel tired after talking to people?
▶ The real reason why conversations don't click
🪞 When you are thinking but not moving forward
If you keep thinking while being misaligned,
no matter how much you think, you won't move forward.
