I had a Sri Lankan banana leaf meal @ Alariya Lanka
There is a Sri Lankan bento shop in Kamiyacho called Alariya Lanka. They also have eat-in space, so you can eat there as well.
I've used it several times, and I usually use the eat-in option.
First, you choose the size of the rice, then you choose your main curry from chicken, pork, or vegetable, and after that, you choose your favorite items from the trays lined up. Of course, the price changes depending on how many you choose.
My favorite Sri Lankan curry is parippu, so choosing the vegetable option is the right answer.
When I visited this time, they were only serving banana leaf bentos to commemorate their 2nd anniversary. However, there were two types: non-veg and veg. Naturally, I chose the non-veg one and ate it in the shop's eat-in area.

The contents are as follows:
Parippu
Jackfruit
Achar
Pol Sambol
Papadam
Cashew nut curry
Basmati rice

Parippu is a split lentil curry, but the difference from a typical Indian dal curry is that it is coconut milk-based. I love this.

Jackfruit looks like an even larger version of a durian, so it's too big to have a chance to eat it while sightseeing, and I've never eaten it raw. However, I have had it as a curry at other Sri Lankan restaurants before. It has a texture that is slightly firmer than a fluffy potato, and the taste is not overpowering. Still, I would like to try raw jackfruit once. Even though it looks like a durian, this curry had neither the taste nor the aroma of a durian.
The achar was made with vegetables that still had a firm crunch, which provided a nice contrast in texture and was delicious.

Pol Sambol is like a spicy condiment, and its dry texture is also quite enjoyable.
The papadam was like a well-fried papad, and its crispy texture was wonderful.

And the cashew nut curry—this is very delicious. It was a wonderful, tasty curry where the umami of the cashew nuts, which had become slightly soft from simmering, really stood out.
I mixed these with the rice and enjoyed the various flavors and textures. I was very satisfied with my lunch.
