The Reason I, Who Couldn't Move, Finally Took a Step Forward✨
Nice to meet you, I'm Akari.
Thank you so much for finding my article among so many others.
I'm scared, yet I still take action.
But after I act, I worry more than anyone else and get exhausted.
As an HSS-type HSP who is like that, I want to share the reason why I was finally able to move forward.
🤝Self-Introduction
I'm in my early 30s and work as a part-time retail clerk.💍
I live with my husband.🏠
My hobbies are traveling, fashion, eating, watching dramas and movies, and theater.💐
I've been doing theater as a hobby since I was 21.
I have many hobbies, so my personality is such that when my schedule gets packed, I reach my capacity and feel overwhelmed, haha.
I have the HSS-type HSP temperament.
I have a slightly contradictory trait of being sensitive to stimulation while simultaneously seeking it.
Because I have both introverted and extroverted sides,I am always in a state of pressing the accelerator and the brake at the same time.
I struggle with not being able to control myself and the gap between the impression others have of me and my inner self.
Back when I lived without knowing my traits, I was easily swept up in other people's emotions, and before I knew it, having a one-person reflection meeting every day became my routine.
I would often read too much into the tone of voice and facial expressions of others, and I would get tired from being too considerate.
As a result, I would adapt too much to others, couldn't have my own core, and always lived based on others' standards.
"Why is life always so hard for me?"
"Why can't I be normal?"
"Living is painful, someone help me!"
The more I thought that way, the more my circular thinking wouldn't stop,
and while scouring the internet and books for information,
I was desperately trying to understand myself.
I didn't understand myself,
and just living was all I could do.
Now, I understand my temperament, have accepted myself,
and have become able to live based on my own core.
🗒️Why I started this note
I had been interested in note for a while, but
I couldn't quite take that first step
and hadn't been able to start.
The biggest reason I decided to start note was
"the existence of a friend who has the same temperament".
One day, that friend told me about their worries.
Because our temperaments are similar, I understood their feelings painfully well without them even needing to put them into words, and it felt like I was looking at my past self, which made my chest tighten.
"I understand how you feel."
As I listened while telling them that,
they said,
"I'm not strange after all."
"My heart feels lighter."
The joy of being understood and the realization that I was able to help someone welled up, and before I knew it, tears were falling after the call ended.
In that moment,
" my experience of struggling with my temperament can be a salvation for someone else "
" I want to be there for people who are struggling "
I was able to think that, and I found the courage to write on note, which I had never been able to take the step to do.
🌻In closing
It is said that HSS-type HSPs make up about 6% of the total population. That is precisely why it took me time to realize my own temperament.
Since we live in an era where a lot of information can be obtained on the internet,
I think it might actually be confusing at times.
But, if this note can be the catalyst for you to think,
"Maybe I'm like that too?"
"Knowing about temperament is important."
I would be happy if it could be a hint for you to understand yourself even a little bit.
To those who are sensitive and feel that life is difficult
(HSP, HSS-type HSP, etc.)
I am delivering hints to make your heart feel a little lighter.
Through learning, psychological perspectives, and daily realizations,
I am sharing ways to gently accept yourself.🌿
I would be happy if this could be a place where those who are sensitive and try too hard
can feel their hearts become a little lighter.
If you are interested, it would encourage me if you could leave a comment or a like.
If there is anyone with the same temperament, I would be happy if you followed me.🌻
I will be posting casually from now on, so I would be happy if you could read it.
