"Excel is not just for spreadsheets!" ~It can be a canvas for illustration creation🌸~

I think many people use Excel (spreadsheet software).
It is used quite often, especially for work, isn't it?

I usually use it for a different purpose.
What kind of purpose?

It is for "creating thumbnails for note"😊
(This refers to the header image.)
I will roughly introduce the steps.

*Please prepare the images you want to use in advance.

1. Open Excel

2. Hide the gridlines

3. The canvas is now ready

4. Insert an image

Click "Insert" -> "Illustrations" -> "Pictures" -> "This Device" from the top menu items in order, and finally select the prepared image.

5. Adjust the balance

6. Use "Windows key + Shift + S" to crop the part you want to use
(*Here, I am using the default Windows app "Snipping Tool")

7. Open the pop-up at the bottom right of the screen and...

8. Click anywhere on the display once, then save the image with "Ctrl + S".
(Because it won't be reflected unless the display is in an active state)

*For image management, I save manually each time, but you don't have to save manually because
you can select it from the "Explorer" => "Screenshots" folder.
(This is because it is automatically saved when you take a screenshot.)

In addition to thumbnails for note, I have also used it for:

■ Simple in-house notices (e.g., Restroom currently out of order!)
■ POP signs for small events, etc.

I create these and more in Excel.
I now also use the video/image editing software Canva, but with Excel, there is no image upload time, so I can create things quickly.
(Of course, Canva is more professional and has higher convenience.)

"Just upload the image as is!"

is fine, but you can also enjoy the fun of adding a little extra touch. It's like being able to express what you want to convey more effectively.
