Picture one apple in your mind
What shape is it, what color is it

No matter how many apples you recall
Are they all the same shape and same color

Yet each one is different
If you look closely, you should be able to tell

You won't know unless you look closely
Each and every one is different

Insects, animals, flowers, and grasses too
Each and every one is different

They may resemble the red of an apple
But even the same red is different for everyone

Whether it's misshapen or has a scratch
If it's an apple, that's enough

The color of your clothes or the color of your skin
What's important is the color inside

What's important is the color of your heart
