The Body's Voice Moves Japan | Daily Note # 96 | Mind-Body Integration
Good morning! ☀️
Yesterday, I uploaded a collaboration video with health YouTuber Shin Rikitake! 🔥
The reason I asked for Mr. Rikitake's cooperation this time was not just because I wanted to film a fitness video.
Through physical conditioning, I want to reclaim what Japan has cherished since ancient times. 🇯🇵
That is the sentiment behind it.
On Mr. Rikitake's channel, I talk about my thoughts in a dialogue format. 🎥
Why was Prince Shotoku able to say, 'Harmony is to be valued'?
Why was Maresuke Nogi able to keep walking without sleep or rest?
I have been researching where the great figures of Japan drew their energy from, specifically from the perspective of the body.
In this video, I share my own conclusions that have emerged from that research.
Please take a look!
And on my channel, I had Mr. Rikitake experience 'Mind-Body Integration Gymnastics.' 🌿
Mind-Body Integration Gymnastics is not just exercise for building muscle.
We value the following three principles:
・Surrender to gravity ・Infuse with intention ・Listen to the body
By moving the body based on these three principles, you cultivate the ability to listen to your physical sensations—in other words, the 'voice of the body.'
And rather than using your head to manipulate your body, your mind and body naturally become integrated as one.
I feel that this is where the true power of human beings lies.
In my research, what the great figures of Japan had in common was that they moved honestly in accordance with the voice of their own bodies.
They were not overthinking things in their heads and forcing their bodies to move.
Following what wells up from a deeper place,
wasn't the body moving naturally?
That is what I feel.
The voice and movement of the body become one.
Mind and body integrate.
At that moment, our bodies,
rather than the outer muscles,
begin to engage the inner muscles naturally.
I see in these inner muscles
the source of human energy🔥
Mind-body integration exercise
is difficult to convey through words alone.
It is only by experiencing it firsthand
that you can truly feel, 'Ah, so this is what it means.'
This time, Mr. Rikitake also
clearly felt the difference when moving his body
based on the three principles.
In the video,
while heightening the sensation of the hara and tanden,
you are experiencing the physical sensation of 'harmony'.
I want to create a harmonious society.
However, I believe that
simply understanding 'harmony is important' in your head
will not truly make it a reality.
Harmony is something
that you realize through the body.
When the hara is settled,
the sensation of the tanden is heightened,
and your center is aligned,
people naturally become able to harmonize with others as well.
And when many people
regain the sensation of their hara and tanden,
might Japan be able to head once again
toward a harmonious society?🇯🇵
I feel
a positive hope in that.🔥
