Happy Neptune in Aries! Spread the new wings of your imagination and ideals!
On 26 January 2026 (in Sweden) and 27 January 2026 (in Japan), Neptune entered Aries, where it will remain for the next 14 years. This is a significant event for any planet, as Aries is the first of the 12 zodiac signs and marks the start of a new cycle.
The last time Neptune entered Aries was in 1861. I recommend checking world history around that time. This was the year that Abraham Lincoln was elected the 16th President of the United States, and the Civil War began, while Great Britain was at the height of its prosperity. It was also the time of the emancipation reform in Russia. In Japan, it was the unsettling period preceding the Meiji Restoration, when the Tokugawa shogunate was overthrown by Emperor Meiji. You can imagine what kind of energy this planet bring when it is Aries.
In simplified mythology, Neptune is the god of the sea. In Western astrology, it is known as the lord of imagination, dreams and fantasy. As the sea has no boundaries, Neptune represents the desire to transcend everyday reality and search for perfection through idealism. From a realistic perspective, however, this is a state of inflated illusion and intoxication.
Nevertheless, Neptune's move to Aries is favourable for humanity, provided you are willing to embrace new perspectives and step out of your comfort zone.
Neptune will soon meet with Saturn at 0 degree in the sign of Aries.
Saturn, the planet of reality and boundaries, will tell Neptune, "You know, human beings with physical bodies cannot follow you at the speed of light and expand like water or imagination, even if they want to".
"They need patience to find their pace and structure in new ways," adds Saturn in Aries. Saturn also entering Aries and meeting Neptune at 0 degree on 20 February is fully affected by Neptune being encouraged to step out of its comfort zone in its new cycle.
Saturn is no longer just a symbol of 'serious and oppressive authority' or 'strict teachers'. Instead, it is expected that Saturn will move beyond his traditional associations with restrictions and limitations, integrating its competencies of materialisation and structuring to shape fluffy imagination and fantasy (Neptune) into reality (Saturn).

Neptune already entered Aries once from 30 March to 21 Oct 2025. As it was retrograding between 5 July and 21 Oct, the clear quality of Aries Neptune was most likely felt between 30 March - 4 July.
The same for Saturn. Saturn was in Aries from 25 May to 26 August 2025 but it retrograded between 13 July to 26 August. The powerful time was before the retrograde.
