The inspiration for this project came from that very fact.

It is a project to "introduce books I haven't read"!! (Personally, I'm excited about it)

I hate to say it myself, but I am a "book lover" and I like reading.

I buy about 5 books every month, but before I know it,
my pile of unread books keeps growing,
and at some point, the number of unread books has just kept increasing.

Unfortunately, the number of books I want to read increases every month,
and whenever I find one, I buy it.

This kind of daily routine has been going on for about the last three months.

And so, my pile of unread books has grown.

The purpose of this project is to
"make it public in the world of note by writing an article about it."That is what it is.

■Introducing My Unread Books! (Structure is up to you)

I will introduce 3 books!

✔︎1st book

The title is a book called "Built to Last".

Q: When did you buy it? (Date if you know it, or just an approximate time is OK)

It was July 2020.

Q: Reason for purchase (thought I might use it for work, popular title, interest, recommended by someone)

It was being talked about in various places and appeared as a citation in other books, so I got curious and bought the series (there are 2, 3, and 4).

Q: How much have you read? (a few pages, haven't read it at all)

Also, it's quite voluminous.

I haven't read it for nearly half a year, huh.

I wanted to collect books by the author,
Yuval Noah Harari, so I bought it.

"Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" and "21 Lessons" I have read, but I haven't been able to read this book yet...

About a third of the first volume.

At the time, I wanted to collect books related to AI, but since a different genre I wanted to read came up, shifting to that was the reason.

■5th participant: Naoko Nonaka!

It seems Ms. Nonaka has two types of unread books.

1. Books I'll probably read again because they were interesting, or want someone else to read.
2. Books I honestly feel were a mistake to buy.

For category 1, she has what she calls a "mountain of unread books," and she introduced one from there!

She borrows them from the library, and then buys them if she becomes interested in them!

I usually buy books immediately if I'm interested, so maybe I should adopt the library method too!
