The story of making 10-12cm plushies of my original characters
Just listing out what I did
Everything is the result of """madness"""
・Inserted a skeleton to make it poseable. It can even sit!
・Inserted a base into the head so the neck angle can be adjusted to some extent. It can look up, diagonally down, or to the side!
・Embedded magnets in the hands so they can stick to iron or other magnets. It can hold almost anything!
・Made the ponytail detachable with a magnet, allowing for headgear.
・Created the hair from the face mold to give it a 3D structure.
・Created custom hair patterns for each character to give the hair a 3D structure.
・Used some fluorescent thread and fabric so it glows in the dark.
・Embedded wire into parts of the hair to make it poseable. It can handle almost any hairstyle!
・Created patterns for the clothes from scratch as well.
・Since stuffing the hair with cotton makes it too bulky, I used core materials to maintain the 3D shape while keeping the volume down.
・To get a smooth texture for the boots, I made a mold with putty, cast it with Oyumaru, and created them with resin.
・Since I made a common body pattern, I used the shoe soles to recreate height differences. I built a mechanism inside the shoes to change the height.
・Managed to create the clothing patterns by combining name tapes and pens, print sheets, and embroidery.
The suspect claims they wanted to recreate it perfectly.
The inside of the black part of the jacket collar opening had buttons sewn on in an 'X' shape, so I sewed them on with that 'X' shape in mind.
The end.
In conclusion, when people go mad, they will go to any lengths.
As for Olduv, I ended up making image rings as a result of my madness, so the direction of the madness is really quite different...
