In February 2024, Sam Altman (OpenAI CEO) said in a Fortune interview:
“The era is coming where one person can build a unicorn company as AI agents join the workforce.”
In August 2025, Elon Musk (xAI CEO) declared on X:
“MACROHARD — We have founded a new company with the goal of performing software production and development through AI.”
In January 2026, Dario Amodei (Anthropic CEO) said in Fortune and on his own site:
“Inside the data center, there is a nation of geniuses.”
The words of these three giants were always intersecting in my mind...
The Difference Between an AI-Driven Company and an AI-Native Company
An “AI-using company” and an “AI-native company” are completely different things.
AI-Driven Company:
Humans make decisions, and AI supports execution. Humans are the bottleneck. Meetings, approvals, political maneuvering—everything becomes a cause of delay.
AI-Native Company:
AI generates decisions, and humans press the approval button. If you break down the functions of a CEO—generating decisions, evaluating options, and fixing decisions—all can be delegated to AI. All that remains is the entity for legal responsibility.
I believe this structural inversion will rewrite the fundamentals of organizational theory.
Called by Someone Unseen
It wasn't a calculation that made me want to write this paper. It felt as if someone unseen was telling me, “Proceed this way.”
