[Self-Introduction] From a first year full of failures to a 14-year teaching career pursued with all my might.

Nice to meet you. I am "Mirai-sensei" (Teacher Future).

Thank you so much for reading this page out of the many articles available.

I worked as a Japanese language teacher at a public high school for 14 years, where I served as a homeroom teacher, career guidance director, and grade head.

I have since retired from teaching and am now active as an educational consultant and author.

In this note, I share:

・Ways of thinking that can make teachers smile even a little
・Tips to make parenting easier for guardians
・Creating an environment where children can feel safe
・Preparation for teacher employment exams
・Practices that were truly useful in the school setting

and more, based on my own teaching experience and my experience as a father.

I value writing articles that are not just "read and done," but things you can put into practice starting tomorrow.

About Mirai-sensei

Over the past 14 years, I worked at a public high school and experienced roles such as:

・Homeroom teacher
・Career guidance director
・Grade head

After retiring, I became independent as an educational consultant.

Furthermore, I am involved in activities such as:

・Amazon Kindle publishing・Achieving #1 bestseller in the Kindle "Teacher Employment Exam" category
・Over 1,500 note followers
・Teacher employment exam support
・Educational consulting

My goal is driven by the strong desire to "make educational settings across Japan places that protect lives!"

Why I started this note

During my time as a teacher, I worked with all my might every day.

For the students.
For the guardians.
For the school.

But at the same time, I saw the reality that "teachers themselves are exhausted" over and over again.

The harder teachers work, the more they suffer, and the more serious they are, the more they blame themselves.

I wanted to change this situation even a little.

That was one of the reasons I started this note.
Also, I continue to share content that helps guardians struggling with parenting think, "Oh, there is this perspective too."

My experience with setbacks

My teaching life was by no means smooth sailing.

I failed many times.

When I was a novice teacher, I was even yelled at by the principal.

There were days I felt depressed.

There were times I wanted to quit my job.

I felt crushed by the weight of responsibility and there were days I thought, "Maybe I'm not cut out to be a teacher."

Even so, the many encounters with students, teachers, and guardians supported me, and I was able to grow to the point where I was entrusted with heavy responsibilities in my early 30s.

That is why I now believe that even my experiences with failure can become assets that are useful to everyone.

A turning point in life

Deciding to retire was the biggest challenge of my life.

The anxiety of letting go of stability was beyond imagination.

However, the thought, "I want to be involved in education in a freer way," never changed.

I kept writing notes, published on Kindle, started educational consulting, and...

Supporting those who aspire to be teachers.

Little by little, the scope of my activities expanded.

I am still in the middle of my own challenges.

That is why I understand the feelings of those who are taking on challenges.

The future I want to deliver

If you are a teacher, I want to tell you, "It's okay not to carry it all alone."

If you are a guardian, there is no perfect answer to parenting.

Just by changing your perspective a little, the parent-child relationship can change significantly.

If you are aiming to be a teacher, I want to support your dream with all my might.

Education changes people.

And I believe that if the teacher changes, the child changes too.
