The story submission site Tales is currently accepting early entries for the Creative Awards 2025 "Entertainment Original Work Category".
Many of the media outlets participating in the early entry for the Entertainment Original Work Category are comic-focused, so it might be good to keep that in mind when writing.
I tried using the story submission site Tales right away
1. How to get started with the story submission site Tales
Once you access the site above, if you have a note account, you can start writing immediately.
2. How to create a work
When you press "Create new work", a form like the one below will appear.
For now, just enter the Work Title and Genre, then press "Proceed to write" to complete the creation of your work.
3. How to create a table of contents
The table of contents is composed of "Chapters" and "Episodes".
Chapter: Displayed only in the table of contents
Episode: This is where you write the main text
Each can be reordered.
4. How to write an episode (main text)
Just enter the "Episode Title" and the "Main text" and you are good to go.

My impressions of using the writing features on the story submission site Tales
The good points are as follows:
You can use it directly with your note account
It has a table of contents feature
It has basic access analytics (currently in preparation)
The note system makes it difficult to write serialized novels, and they were at a disadvantage compared to short stories.

On note, you had to compile a table of contents yourself in an article or create a magazine.
Even if you post a new chapter, almost no one will read it from the middle.
I think it's great that if you have a table of contents feature, that kind of thing won't happen.
Tales is all about competing with your writing!
Since you cannot upload images, it is recommended for people who want to write purely with text.

You cannot use the decoration features that were available on note, such as those listed above.
Tales & Co. aims for works to be adapted into books, dramas, manga, anime, movies, and games, so perhaps decorations would get in the way.
