A few days have passed since she started school.
Every morning, my second daughter goes to school full of energy.
With her backpack on, her hat on, and her attachable pocket on.
Yes, an attachable pocket.
This is...something I just can't stop thinking about.
The position of the attachable pocket is just a little bit off.
An attachable pocket is a type of pocket that you clip onto your skirt or pants.
It's the thing you use to keep your handkerchief and tissues in.
My second daughter also prepared a cute-patterned attachable pocket for starting school.

Because originally, it's supposed to be attached to the side, around the waist.

She's trying her best to attach it herself, isn't she?
Every morning, she thinks about it herself and snaps the clips on by herself.
That alone is already amazing enough.
A child who just started school is trying to do things for herself.
Telling her 'that's the wrong position' feels like the wrong thing to do somehow.
There are things you learn by making mistakes, and
besides, if she doesn't mind it herself, I think it's fine as it is.
It's cute, like Doraemon.
It has become my secret morning pleasure.
Today, before leaving, my second daughter showed it to me and said, 'I did it!'

I said, 'You did a great job attaching it!'
I don't know if this is the correct way.
But she seemed happy about it.
For a while, I think I'll just watch over this Doraemon state.
Maybe one day she'll realize it on her own and start wearing it on the side,
or maybe someone will tell her and she'll fix it.
Until then, every morning I secretly see her off while thinking, 'It's Doraemon again today.'
I'm hoping that one of these days, something might actually come out of that four-dimensional pocket.
