[Always a struggle] The Chitose Ame I was troubled by

Counting from my eldest daughter's time, we have received Chitose Ame from kindergarten six times.
I kept worrying, "What should I do?" and finally, in the last year of kindergarten, I found a solution!

Things I was troubled by regarding Chitose Ame

・If I give one whole stick to the child, they get bored halfway through. (I end up thinking, "What do I do with this...?") For some reason, their hands get sticky.

・Breaking it by force. It doesn't break evenly, and I just end up with a few long pieces. (Still too long and they get bored)

・Using it in cooking. I worry about how to use it, and it ends up never coming out of the drawer.

・Cutting it with a kitchen knife. It's hard and I don't want to cut it

The method I tried

1. Place the Chitose Ame on parchment paper and microwave it at 600W for 10 seconds.

2. Once it gets a little soft, cut it into bite-sized pieces with kitchen scissors!

If 10 seconds isn't enough, please add 5 more seconds. However, if you do it too much, it will turn into a gooey mess, so if it does, just shape it with the parchment paper and wait for it to cool, and it will harden again.

Using parchment paper made it easy to handle since the candy doesn't stick to it.
