Winter in the blink of an eye

It's getting harder to get out of bed in the morning.

Just the other day, while walking with my second daughter, we were making a fuss under the ginkgo trees, shouting 'Ew, it stinks!' and 'Ginkgo nuts smell!', picking up yellow leaves while keeping a wary eye on the ginkgo nuts.

Back then, we could still get by in light clothing, but this morning, a down coat was necessary.

Before we could even fully enjoy autumn,

now it's the season for hugging a bicycle blanket while saying 'It's so cold!' (I wish I had a blanket while pedaling the bike, too!)

Even though I was exhausted by the summer heat, now I find myself longing for warmth.

Autumn, not too hot and not too cold, was so short...
