how I need to get ready for the weekend camping event. That's the topic.

The 'Tabi-Bike Festival 2025,' hosted by the podcast program 'Tabi-Bike,' will be held again this year at Heartland Asagiri from Saturday, 9/27 to Sunday, 9/27!

To explain what kind of event it is, the hosts, Rat-san and Yoko-san,rent out the entire campsite, so let's all go camping! That's it in a nutshell.

Since they're calling for people on a podcast, the main participants are motorcycle-riding listeners, but cars are also welcome, and they even accept people who don't know the show—it's a very open-minded event.

Other than checking in,there's nothing you specifically have to do; everyone just enjoys camping as they like.

Of course, you have to follow manners and morals, but isn't that obvious?

As long as you follow those,you can hang out with friends or spend time quietly by yourself.
It's that kind of laid-back event.

What's great for camping beginners is that even if you don't know anyone, everyone is a fellow event participant, so you can get advice on various things and it's a chance to make new friends!

I wonder how many times I've been now?
At first, I just went to take a peek and stayed for a few hours before heading home.
It's nice that it's free if you don't set up a tent or stay overnight, which really lowers the barrier to entry.

From the second time on, I brought a chair and a convenience store bento and stayed until the sun went down.
I made a lot of friends there.

After doing day trips a few times, I bought a used tent, gathered a sleeping bag and other gear, and had my camping debut at this 'Tabi-Bike Festival.'

I'm always grateful to Rat-san, Yoko-san, and all the staff.

So, I started getting ready for this year, but the chair I'd been using until last year broke, and I was wondering what to do...

Then, I happened to stop by Don Quijote earlier and found the same type I'd been using, so I bought it.

It was only 1,999 yen!
So cheap!
I'm a bit worried about its durability, but I don't use it that often, so I'll call it good.

When it comes to loading it on a motorcycle, this level of compactness is very convenient.
You can just pack the chair, find a place with a nice view, set it up, and space out with a canned coffee in hand, or bring it to the garden to read once it gets cooler.
Even if you're not camping. You know?

Yes.
Finally, here is the main point.
No matter how cheap a mass-produced item is, if you put a little work into it, your attachment to it will skyrocket.

Just like putting stickers on your bike or PC, or attaching charms and keychains to your bag,I just want to put my logo on everything.

So, let's get started right away.
I printed it out and cut it out with a design knife.

I'm going to stencil the chair I just bought!

...Or so I thought, but it seems like the surface has some kind of coating, so it won't stick (sweat).

I was planning to use spray paint, but I had to change plans suddenly.
I applied acrylic paint with a short-cut brush and finished it by dabbing it on.
What do you think?

Since it originally had a "green stage" logo on it, I matched the colors.

Doesn't it have a nice vibe?
Man, it looks cool.
Making the letters white instead of black was the right choice, too.
