It's been quite a while, but this is
【I'm Doing a Remake! ~Preparation Edition~】continued.
Last time was a bag dismantling show.

You don't see that very often, right?
Taking apart a baglike that (lol).

Reusing a bag is rare, isn't it?
This time, I'll be cutting out the dismantled bag.

First,cleaning.
It's second-hand, so I want to clean it up before working on it.
So,starting with buying a cleaner!
(That's my excuse for why there was such a gap...)

I looked around at various things and bought this!

It says "Leather Shoe Cleaner," but itcan be used on all kinds of leatherand the price is relatively cheap.

I also own several pairs of leather boots, so I intend to use it on those as well.

And you know, I was surprised when I opened the box for this cleaner!
It came with ahandwritten (copy) letter from the manufacturing company!

Once you read something like this, you'll buy the same thing next time, right!

As for how it felt to use, the person who used the bag originally had cleaned it, so it was already quite clean.
Even so, as I wiped it with the cleaner, the rag (cloth) got dirty, so I could clearly see it was effective.

So, if you arelooking for a leather (shoe) cleaner, I recommend this one.

Next istreating the back side (flesh side).
The bag itself had a synthetic leather lining, so the back of the leather wasn't treated in any particular way.

I apply Tokonole to suppress the fuzziness characteristic of leather and to increase durability.
This is what I usually use↓

The back side is called the flesh side, and for small areas I use my fingers, and for large areas I use a glass plate to apply it.

Is it hard to tell in the image?
The whitish part on the bottom half is fuzzy.
The image is ofapplying Tokonole and smoothing it down.
It dries quickly and becomes smooth.

From here, it's the cutting process.
Depending on the situation, I sometimes use a leather knife, but

since the leather itself is thin, I cut it out with a utility knife this time.

I added a red scrap that was similar to the "K" logo.

Next time, the plan is to"glue," "punch holes," "sew," "shave," and "polish" to complete it.
There are quite a few steps (lol).
