More white than red, the Kifune chrysanthemum - Boseki Ujo
Although it is not included in the seven autumn flowers, I am drawn to the Kifune chrysanthemum. It grows as tall as a person, blooming with modest flowers at its peak. Its elegant way of blooming is unrivaled. Simple, clear, slender, and refined. The white ones are exceptionally lovely, but I am so captivated that I also find myself desiring the reddish color variations. Having conquered both white and red, I am satisfied. I look forward to them increasing year by year. Since the white ones were planted first, they multiply at a faster rate. And that is just fine.
