I also submitted a few works, but would it be okay if I indulged in some "delusions" in connection with "#CreativeAwardImpressions"? (Sweat)

Among them, I have a special attachment to "When a High School Sophomore Girl Linked with a Black-crowned Night Heron, the World Moved by 1mm," which I submitted to the "#FantasyNovelCategory."

The announcement for the "Creative Award 2024" boasted, "A chance for book and video adaptation from 21 media outlets!" and "Winning works will aim for book publication, serialization, and video adaptation across various media."

As the author of "When a High School Sophomore Girl Linked with a Black-crowned Night Heron...", it is only natural for a parent's heart to wish for an anime or drama adaptation if possible.

It's fine to make the title shorter!

There is a song in the world with a long title: "If I Said 'I Dream of Your Smile' on the Suzukake Tree Path, How Would Our Relationship Change? Something Like a Slightly Embarrassing Conclusion After Thinking About It for Several Days in My Own Way."

However, the reality is that it is too long to use in media listings, including newspaper TV guides. They had to use an official abbreviation like "Suzukake-something" or were forced to write it as "On the Suzukake Tree Path~" in practice.

Learning from that lesson, I also thought, "That's true."

With "When a High School Sophomore Girl Linked with a Black-crowned Night Heron, the World Moved by 1mm," the footwork inevitably becomes heavy.

If it were to be adapted into an anime or a drama, there is only one possible title for it...

It happens often, doesn't it? The pattern where rumors of a popular manga or anime being adapted into live-action spread, and people online get excited asking, "Who will be in the cast?"

"Natsuki and Goicchi" probably won't even be a topic of conversation, so I've decided to think about it all by myself. But I'm quite serious about it.

First, I want to be particular about the theme song.

For the opening theme, this song has been running through my mind for a long time.

It is "Summer Triangle," included in the 1st EP "Moonlight on the Night I Was Dead" by the Kanazawa-based punk band (self-proclaimed), Angie Motel.

Some might tilt their heads and wonder, "Does it link to the content in any way?"

As the original author, I felt that there was something in common in the sense that it sings about "the anxiety and hope held by young people."

Well, recent theme songs are so-called tie-up songs, so it seems the content isn't pursued that deeply, so let's leave it at that.

I'll save the ending theme for the final treat, and think about the casting.

Main Cast

・Goicchi (Voice/Narration): Teikyo Ichiryusai

I am aware that she is a "big name." After all, I am asking her to play one of the main cast members (or birds). I want her to help "Goicchi" grow with her potential that transcends the boundaries of a Kodanshi storyteller.

・Natsuki Suzakuzaka: Miho Watanabe

Oh man, I struggled with this! She is the de facto lead actress, after all.

Look, I'll say it clearly. I didn't choose her because of her fame as a former idol.

To begin with, I wasn't familiar with Hinatazaka46, and I didn't know Miho Watanabe.

Everything is because of this person's influence!

That's why I'm hoping she will break new ground with "Natsuki and Goicchi".

・Kimie Ryugeji: Rinka Kumada

"Kimie" is the "flower on a high peak" that the boys and girls at Ramo High admire.

When I thought of a young actress who radiates that kind of brilliance, "Rinkuma" came to mind...

・Sherbet (Hyoka Suzakuzaka): Kurumi Inagaki

※Nickname is "Pan-chan". She is Natsuki's younger sister, a 6th grader who is fashionable and precocious.

・Bungo Oda: Kai Kobayashi

※Ramo High 1st year, Class A. In the story, he is one year junior to Natsuki and Kimie.

・Police officer "Bin-chan" (Toshiko Yada): Riku Nakamura

Perfect for the role of "Bin-chan," who is skilled at kickboxing.

After all, she is a disciple of Tak Sakaguchi, who gave a passionate performance as the sword master Saji in the movie "Kingdom"!

・Police officer "Rariho" (Riho Miura): Miku Tanaka

Here, I've chosen Miku Tanaka, who is rumored to look like Riho Yoshioka.

She has been active in dramas in recent years, so I look forward to her growth as an actress.

・Homare Nanjo: Eiko Koike

*School nurse at Ramo High. Known as "The Amazon."

I believe Eiko Koike is an actress who will always radiate an overwhelming aura and give us power.

About two years ago, in a VOGUE JAPAN interview video, she spoke about her parents, her family environment, and even her approach to marriage.

It was interesting to get a glimpse into the secret of her power.

If she were to take on the role of "The Amazon," an action scene showcasing her physique would be a must.

・Asahi Dozono: MEGUMI

*Employee of a suspicious real estate company. A rival to "The Amazon."

Simply put, I just want to see "Eiko Koike vs. MEGUMI."

・Kogure: Shota Sometani

*Attempted kidnapper. He inflicted near-fatal injuries on Goicchi.
He loves professional wrestling and reveres "Akira Maeda".

・Sugawara no Michizane: Takashi Ukaji

For me, Takashi Ukaji is strongly associated with the character "Kousei Kougami, the chairman of the Kougami Foundation" from "Kamen Rider OOO," and I feel this "Sugawara no Michizane" would be a similar character.
