Friend or Foe -- Image Shiritori Started (#36)
(#35) Interjection → 'Te' → Friend or Foe

Friend or Foe
-- If you provoke someone like that, it's immediately obvious that you're not an enemy (・_・)
"Friend or Foe"
This is a classic provocative phrase in dramas and manga with conflict structures, such as tokusatsu hero shows and some sports stories. However, honestly, I've never seen anyone who appeared using this phrase as a lead-in actually turn out to be an enemy. Based on empirical rules, they are almost certainly an ally, or perhaps an ally appearing from an enemy-like position.
By the way, this is Rei, a master of Nanto Suicho Ken. He is a character from the manga 'Fist of the North Star'. To give the conclusion first, he is a good guy full of chivalry who continues his journey searching for his kidnapped younger sister, Airi.
But, with those sharp eyes and a fearless smile, and the sound effect 'Bam' in the background, of course normal people would be intimidated. Lin-chan is like this.

You shouldn't judge people by their appearance, Lin-chan. -- That's what I'd like to say, but well, it's certainly not the look of someone who helps people.
Well, after it's revealed that Rei is actually a really good guy, he ends up defeating various villains alongside Kenshiro and Mamiya, and becomes friends with Lin and Bat, but.... Regardless,
a person's first impression is important, isn't it... that's also what this story is about ( ̄∀ ̄).
Rei tells Kenshiro that he is pursuing the 'man with seven scars on his chest' who killed his parents and kidnapped his beloved sister Airi as his enemy, and Kenshiro asks him, 'If I were the one with seven scars on my chest, what would you do...'
'That's a bad joke.' Rei laughs it off, saying, 'I'm a man who has survived among villains. I think I can tell what kind of man someone is just by looking at their eyes,' and he doesn't take it seriously, even going so far as to spout this line.

...Ah, Rei-san, that is a total self-destruct. That '
with the innocent eyes of a child that see through things more accurately than anyone else' you're being told this, you know.

His love for Mamiya ends in a one-way street, he gets his pressure points struck by Raoh and is sentenced to death in three days; he is a sad man in many ways.
Farewell, man of Nanto Suicho Ken.
Regarding the keyword 'Friend or Foe', a note creator named Maple Kaede has posted some quite lovely illustrations to 'Everyone's Photo Gallery', so I'd like to introduce them.

If we go by the definition at the beginning, it would mean SNS is 'not an enemy' → 'a friend', but well, I wonder about that ( ̄∀ ̄).
Since SNS can be both an enemy and a friend, it's not something that can be divided by a simple binary choice, and
“It's certain that I'm spending time on it!”
is exactly right.
By the way, Maple Kaede-san also has this one in the same series.

This also made me chuckle unintentionally ( ̄∀ ̄)♪
Of course, I have experience with this too... or rather, I haven't checked, but since there is a discrepancy between the number of people I follow and the number of followers (*1), I think, ah, they must have unfollowed me...
*1: Since there is a discrepancy between the number of people I follow and the number of followers: The specifications have changed now, and it is obvious from both the 'Following' and 'Followers' tabs on the creator page whether you are following a specific creator and whether they are following you back. However, when I started note, there was no 'is following you' display, so I couldn't tell if the people I followed were following me back unless I compared the following list and the followers list one by one.
Well, the other party probably has their own circumstances, and to begin with, what kind of fancy or whim would make someone want to follow the scribbles of a clumsy, scatterbrained old man like me (lol), so I can't complain at all from this side ^m^
However, it's a bit awkward for me to keep following them when they want to cut ties, so I vaguely think I should organize it when I have time. That's the kind of Friday night it is.
One more from Maple Kaede-san's work.

“Is there anyone who says 'I am your enemy'!”
This is a true saying.
It really resonates with the logic of 'friend or foe' incitement,
“I am everyone's friend” and there has never been a case where someone who declares that themselves actually had friends.
In the first place, true friends don't go around calling themselves friends ( ̄∀ ̄)
This is just my personal opinion, but it's also fun in its own way to let yourself be deceived even while knowing you're probably being deceived ww

The home page for Maple Kaede-san, who draws the unique, heartwarming illustrations that soothe the heart introduced this time, is here. ↓ ↓ ↓
Please, do stop by.
And, I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to Maple Kaede-san for allowing me to borrow her wonderful illustrations this time as well m(__)m
By the way, here is my poor article where I previously borrowed Maple Kaede-san's illustration as a header image
It's long, wordy, and hard to read. Even though it's an article from when I just started note, there are no good points at all. Therefore, there is nothing for you to stop by for. However, Maple Kaede-san's header image is wonderful, so if you feel that you can't fully enjoy it with this small thumbnail image, please just jump to the link, look at the illustration, and then close it quickly ^m^
With that said,
tomorrow too, I hope as many people as possible
will have a happy day with few enemies and many friends💛
