The Day I Cried at the Beauty of a Raspy Voice
From Japanese pop, Western music, and classical to enka,
to all-standing outdoor live concerts,
whether it's been 30 times or more,
I have experienced all genres of music firsthand.
I am moved every time by the power of music and the amazing nature of entertainment.
Recently, I have started looking for concerts that I can enjoy with my elderly mother,
specifically ones at nearby halls that offer matinee performances.
Masashi Sada, Chisako Takashima and the 12 Violinists, Tokiko Kato, Chieko Baisho with Koroku (titles omitted).
And this year,
Kenichi Mikawa and Croket,
Tomio Umezawa and Naoko Ken.
If I can get tickets,
Ryoko Moriyama (special guest Michiko Shimizu) (titles omitted).

Today, I went to a joint concert by Mr. Umezawa and Ms. Ken ♫
With two such skilled talkers, laughing a lot was expected.
More than I had imagined, Naoko Ken's singing voice
touched me so deeply.
Abayo / Ito / Natsu wo Akiramete
I cried, I cried, I cried.
Mom, let's go again.
