#Guchi-1 Grand Prix "Finalist Collection"
The number of entries for the Guchi-1 Grand Prix,
which had a deadline at the end of March,
reached 11 works.
To all the noters who submitted,
thank you very much.
Yesterday, the three judges decided on the Grand Prix winner
and the names of the awards to be presented to each work.
The results will be announced at the awards ceremony
which will be live-streamed on Stand.fm on Friday, April 7th,
starting at 9:30 PM, so please come and join us.
Below, I will introduce the finalists (lol)
in the order of entry.
1. Yuki-mama
She entered two works.
Both are works where Yuki-mama's style is in full blast.
K-senpai, how are you doing?
They have completely forgotten about this (lol).
2. Yukihana
Yukihana usually posts mainly tanka on note.
Her entry was also a short piece,
and I felt a depth as if she were expressing the current world.
Personally, I was taken by the 'puri-puri-puri-rin 💖' (lol).
3. Yahoo
This is an entry from Okinawa.
Yahoo's husband apparently looks like the professional soccer player Mitoma,
and it is a funny complaint about such a handsome husband.
It seems her own diet is effective not only for health
but also for domestic harmony.
4. Ayaka
Ayaka works at a welfare equipment office.
This is a complaint story about that legendary (lol) Midori-shi,
who sometimes appears in her regular note articles.
It's a satisfying vent,
but am I the only one who feels kindness and consideration in it?
5. Clean
Clean works from home while raising small children.
Her husband is also busy with work,
and there are times when they don't see eye to eye,
so as the title says, her 'complaints' seem to build up.
Even so, she said that instead of just rambling on,
she decided to end with a laugh, which made her feel refreshed.
The story, which is common for men, was also a funny point.
6. Yoshiyoshi
Yoshiyoshi is a playing manager at a nursing care facility.
It's a really tough story where the person she complained to
had such poor information management that Yoshiyoshi
ended up being cornered by those around her.
It is wonderful how she preaches 'what is a leader's job'
while being comforted by Anya from her favorite SPY×FAMILY.
There was a nurse among the judges, and it drew attention.
7. Daina
Daina posts on both note and Stand.fm.
Daina, who has a very gentle impression in both her singing voice
and piano tone, wrote a piece that really conveys the feeling
of cornering her family in her heart, as the title 'Confess!' suggests.
The retort 'That's just a margin of error!' was impressive,
and I couldn't help but laugh.
8. Rito
Rito posts on both note and Stand.fm.
She has even broadcasted on Stand.fm with her husband.
The title 'I don't understand' was actually from her husband's perspective.
The unexpected idea was wonderful,
and it was a work that made me imagine she wrote it
while repeating divorce and remarriage (lol).
9. Yasu-san
Yasu-san, who is the owner of the After-School Writing CLUB.
He is the mentor of Arkun-san, who also entered the contest.
It depicts a side of the usually tough-acting "ladies' man Yasu" that is rarely seen,
making it a piece that friends and fans will surely find irresistibly charming due to the gap in his personality.
I feel humbled to be giving an award to someone who publishes their own work, but I'm going to do it anyway (laughs).
10. Arkun-san
Personally, I have a strong image of him as an evangelist of Showa-era gags (laughs),
but he is an amazing person who became a finalist in the Senden Kaigi Award, which solicits catchphrases for corporate products and projects.
He works as a teacher while also serving as a mental trainer, and his ability to shift perspectives is wonderful.
However, I still can't shake the feeling that he's just a middle-aged guy who effortlessly cracks Showa-era jokes (laughs).
That concludes the introduction of our 10 finalists (laughs).
From each of their works, I was able to feel their individuality in how they vent their grievances, transform them into laughter, and shift their perspectives.
During the live broadcast of the awards ceremony on Stand.fm, I plan to announce the awards in the order of entry,
and if the finalists happen to be visiting the Stand.fm room at that time, I would like to have a little chat with them.
Then, finally, I will announce the Grand Prix winner.
Fans of the finalists and fans of the judges, let's enjoy the live stream together!
And let's deepen our connections😊.
