It's peak season now! There are so many strawberry farms in Chichibu 🩷
I realized that because it's so local, I surprisingly hadn't gone 'strawberry picking' before.

I went with my daughter the other day 🍓
2,000 yen for 30 minutes.
I thought, 'That's expensive...', but when I told my friends in the city, they said, 'That's cheap!' 😅

There were many different types of strawberries, but the one that was outstandingly delicious was definitely the Amarin 🍓
My daughter and I ate until we were full 🤣
The strawberry daifuku was also delicious!

Set in Ogano Town, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture, 'Uriemon' is a character created by a mom in her late 40s and her daughter, 'Miazou' (an elementary school student).
We are currently serializing episodes on our note, 'Uriemon's Struggle Diary,' about the experiences we have as a mother and daughter visiting various places in the Chichibu region and interacting with the locals!

'Uriemon' is a character created in 2019 by a girl who was in the first grade of elementary school at the time, featuring motifs of Chichibu cucumbers, a specialty of Ogano Town, Chichibu District, and Ogano Kabuki.

Through Uriemon's activities, we are working as a mother-daughter team to 'let people all over Japan know that Ogano's cucumbers are incredibly delicious and that local amateur Kabuki is famous!'
