There isn't a band member in Sendai who doesn't know the name Ikuzawa.

As the drummer for the legendary Sendai band "HALF LIFE", Ikuzawa-san has continued to run at the forefront of the Sendai scene for many years through various activities.

His overwhelming playing and presence have become a benchmark in the local music scene.

When I was launching "UNIVA MUSIC LESSON," Ikuzawa-san was the first person I reached out to.

This is because he is a figure known to everyone in the Sendai music scene, and he is a "true performer" who has gone beyond the framework of just being a drummer to create culture on the ground.

I (Manager Kikuchi) also started my career in Sendai with a band called "LONG SHOT PARTY." To me, Ikuzawa-san is the very "legend" I have looked up to since I was a teenager.

When I met such an idol of mine at a yakiniku restaurant decades later, I was so nervous that I sat on my heels while grilling the meat (lol). However, that connection has led to this reunion at UNIVA.
