How to get started with Resonite

UniFesta2024 takes place entirely within the social VR platform Resonite, covering everything from visiting the event venue to creating and submitting your exhibits.
First, let's install Resonite!

Installing and launching Resonite

Visit the official Resonite website.

Click the "Download" button in the top right to go to the Steam store page and install the game. Once the installation is complete, click "Play" to launch the game.

Select whether to play Resonite in VR or in screen mode (desktop).(Please wait a moment for text and audio to load upon your first launch.)

Initial Setup

Once Resonite has launched, click the [Start!] button to perform the initial setup.

The "Default Language" will be selected, so simply click "Next" to proceed.

Select your audio input device (microphone) and click "Next" to proceed.

Select your basic settings as appropriate and click "Next" to proceed.
The settings on this screen can be changed later.

Creating an account and logging in

If you already have a Resonite account, select "I have an account" and log in.
If you do not have a Resonite account, proceed to "Create Account".
(Note: If you select "Continue without an account," you can start the game without one, but please be aware that you will not be able to add friends, use avatars, or save items.)

Follow the on-screen instructions to register as a user.
