Pizza Toast | Observations of Daily Life

For the first time in a while, I made pizza toast at home to eat. Somehow, it just doesn't feel right unless I use this store-bought pizza sauce.
Today, I decided to put in a little extra effort. First, I thinly slice some new onions and diagonally slice some coarse-ground sausages, then sauté them in a frying pan with butter until they sizzle.
It's a good sign when the edges of the sausages start to curl.
The oil blends in, and the aroma is already wonderful.
While spreading the pizza sauce messily and enjoying the unevenness is part of the charm of homemade pizza toast, today I carefully spread the sauce all the way to the edges. I transferred the ingredients from the pan, piled on plenty of sliced green peppers (I make pizza toast just to eat these green peppers), and covered it with an overflowing amount of cheese.
I also added a mayonnaise topping for my husband (at his request).
To finish, I ground some black pepper over the top and sent it off to the toaster!
In the meantime, it's the perfect time to boil water and start grinding coffee beans.
Speaking of pizza toast, it has long been a staple in coffee shops. Even though it only has a meager amount of green peppers and canned mushrooms on it, why is it so delicious?
The feeling of hunger while waiting for 'that taste,' the delicious coffee brewed by someone else, and the relaxed atmosphere of the coffee shop all match perfectly.
At home, I tend to get greedy and pile on too many ingredients, so the result is different from a shop, but as long as I have that store-bought pizza sauce, the flavors always come together, and it becomes 'that taste' I was craving.
When it comes out of the toaster, with the cheese on the edges crispy and browned, and the inside sizzling, it looks incredibly delicious.
Holding the edge of the piping hot bread, I take a big bite.
While blowing on it to cool it down, I savor the slight bitterness of the green peppers and see steam rising from between the melted, stretchy cheese.
It always surprises me how quickly I finish eating it.
It feels like I finished it in just two bites.
After drinking some coffee and letting out a sigh, I find myself wanting to eat it again.
Pizza toast is simple and delicious for anyone to make—why not try it this weekend?
