Departure from the Omikuji | Day 100 of the Good Luck Experiment
Hello, it's Un-chan🍀
I felt uneasy and down after drawing an omikuji at a shrine.
And today, that uneasiness has cleared up☀️

The sense of discomfort during my thank-you visit
I go to the shrine where I received an exorcism prayer for a thank-you visit every month.
Every month, I think, 'I'll go today! It has to be today!'
That day was different.
'Should I go today, or tomorrow... well, I guess I'll go today.'
On the way from the station to the shrine, it started to rain.
When I passed through the torii gate, the atmosphere felt damp.
I didn't feel the usual sense of refreshment.
There was a group of people wearing blue clothes.
I happened to be wearing blue clothes too.
For some reason, I felt scared, and my heart felt restless.
When I prayed, I asked the deity a question.
'How can I cherish people more?'
The sense of discomfort with the omikuji
Was today really the right day to visit?
Was that the right question to ask?
Feeling uneasy, I drew an omikuji.
The message on the omikuji strangely always teaches me something important.
The omikuji I drew was already half-open, looking limp and as if it had been opened before.
My heart felt restless again.
Small Blessing (Shokichi).
It is important to have the mindset of carving out your own path without relying on or depending on others. If you try to overcome the things you are not good at instead of running away from them, you will be able to realize significant growth.

I felt uneasy about the content of the message, too.
It didn't feel like it was meant for me.
I felt sick, so I drew another one.
It also looked like it had already been opened.
It didn't have that usual crisp feeling when opening it, and the glue was already peeled off.
And then, Suekichi (Small Blessing). It was a rank down.
Wishes: Will come true after a setback.
Work: Do not accept requests lightly.
Financial Luck: A sign of loss.
Studies: Failure in your strong subjects.
Person you are waiting for: Will not come.

On top of that, when I tied the two together, it snapped with a 'pop'.
I felt exhausted and depressed.
I was dragged down by it, and everything started to feel scary and uncertain.
Thinking back now, I had been filled with a happy mood until the day before.
That morning, I suddenly had a nightmare.
It was the start of my PMS period.
An answer from God
After that, my birthday arrived.
Many people sent me congratulatory messages and gifts 🎁
Family, friends, colleagues, people I met on note...
It was the first time in several years that I had received so many celebrations...
My heart was filled with gratitude.
How can I cherish people more?
-- Cherish the connections you have now.
Before me, there were already many people who are precious to me.
There were so many people who care about me.
For the week that followed, I spent my time forgetting about the omikuji.
I organized how to regulate my daily rhythm,
and made a list of things I want to do and things I will not do.
I sent gifts to my family,
and interacted with everyone through messages and comments.
I interacted warmly with people, observed myself, and aligned my personal axis.
The colors of the world changed.
Today, my PMS ended, and I remembered the omikuji.
When I looked at it once more...
Huh, is this actually pretty good?
A premonition of new growth and leaps forward
Wishes: They will come true if you choose the right path.
Studies: Even if results aren't immediately visible, the time will come for them to bloom.
Waiting Person: They will come just as you hope.
Romance: Love, encounters, and marriage are all auspicious.

The Suekichi (Small Blessing) omikuji is...
Huh, is it actually kind of cool?
A sincere attitude captivates others
Do not get discouraged; work with patience and dedication.
If you continue to hold onto your beliefs with sincerity, supporters will naturally appear, and you will be blessed with good connections.
Wishes: They will come true after setbacks.

There are some harsh parts, but it's not all bad.
That's right.
The rain was because of the rainy season ☔️
The fact that it looked already opened and the paper was torn was also because of the humidity.
The hesitation and restlessness I felt were because of PMS.
My view that day was smoky blue.
PMS had placed smoky blue lenses over my eyes.
Today, now that my PMS has ended, my view is clear.
Departure from the Omikuji
Even with a clear perspective, the message from the fortune slip left me feeling stuck.
It was this part.
It is important to have the mindset of carving out your own path through your own strength, without relying on or depending on others. If you make an effort to face and overcome the things you are not good at, you will be able to realize great results.
Face and overcome the things you are not good atIf you make an effort to do so, you will be able to realize great results.
On the other hand, one of the items on the 'To-Don't List' I made yesterday was this.
Instead of forcing yourself to do things you are not good at on your own, ask others to teach you or ask them to do it for you.
I am not good at relying on or depending on others.
I have perfectionist, idealistic, and prideful tendencies, and for some reason, I convince myself I can do things on my own (even when I can't), which makes me feel anxious when I rely on others and frustrated when I can't do it myself.
I want to overcome that.
I want to trust people more and be able to lean on them.
I want to let go of the feeling that 'I'll be anxious if I don't control everything.'
I thought I had finally started to be able to rely on and lean on others recently, but...
'Without relying on or depending on others'...
It felt like something I had carefully built up had been turned upside down.
After thinking about it for a while, I decided to follow my 'self-determined list' rather than the fortune slip.
I am done with being someone who 'doesn't know what they want.'
I am also done with being swayed by fortune-telling and fortune slips.
From now on, I will follow my own heart.
I will follow the way of being and living that I have arrived at through much experimentation, observation, and deep thought.
As the protagonist of this life, I will take responsibility and steer the ship!
Hip, hip, hooray!
...I don't know, I just realized this as I was writing this far.
It is important to have the mindset of carving out your own path through your own strength, without relying on or depending on others.
If you make an effort to face and overcome the things you are not good at, you will be able to realize great growth.
Isn't that exactly the same thing? 😂
This is Day 100 of the Good Luck Experiment.
It was Un-chan 🍀
