Today, I'm making a note about something that surprised me regarding note points📝
Topping up points via the web version is the best way to go!
Last month, I topped up my note points from the iOS app to buy paid articles and such.
I decided to limit my spending on note to 3,000 yen a month as part of my allowance. Otherwise, I feel like I'd end up spending infinitely...
(There are so many wonderful articles and memberships that I feel my purse strings loosening👛💦)
It's not 1 point = 1 yen, but rather
paying 2,800 yen for 2,070 points.
It said it was a good deal, so I charged 2,800 yen all at once💦
Yesterday, I happened to look at the web version and was surprised.
1 point = 1 yen‼️‼️
That's right.
Smartphone apps are more expensive because of Apple and Google's fees.
Official guide here (as of August 1, 2026)
When topping up note points in the app, fees apply.
Also, there are no fees when topping up via the web.
Therefore, the payment amount for the same number of note points differs between purchasing in the app and purchasing on the web.Please be sure to check the number of points and the amount displayed before purchasing.
Is this perhaps common knowledge among note creators?
Or rather, is it common knowledge in general??

There was no particular need to top up points!
And I noticed this while looking at the web version...
On the web version, you can pay with PayPay or a credit card without having to top up points, right?😳
Since the iOS app version only allows point payments, I mistakenly thought that exchanging points was absolutely necessary💦
So, I've decided to make my purchases directly from the web version this month🌻✨
