If it doesn't exist, I'll just make it✂️ Rabbit No. 3 and No. 4 for me

Rabbit No. 3 and No. 4 are finished.
At first,
I was thinking,
"Are the rabbits I make actually cute?"
Even when I posted them on X, there were almost no reactions or comments,
and although one person said they were "cute,"
I didn't know if I could trust just that.

In this world,
there are many works that are highly polished and obviously cute.
Seeing those,
I sometimes thought, "Ah, of course something like that would get a reaction."
Even so,
I'm not making rabbits to sell.

These little ones are
the base bodies for the clothes I make.
They are beings that live within my world.
That's why,
more than anyone else's evaluation,
I wanted to shape them into something I was satisfied with, with my own hands first.
Making the parts,
attaching the ears,
adjusting the body,
and finally putting in the eyes and nose.

In that moment,
"Oh, they're cute,"
I was able to think that.
No. 3 and No. 4 are slightly different even though they use the same pattern.
When you line them up, they even start to look like they have different personalities.

When I put clothes on them,
it didn't feel like they were "being dressed,"
but rather that they were "wearing" them.
Actually, over the New Year,
I got an "Ebi-fry-der" (Shrimp Tempura Rider) from a gachapon machine.
I thought it would be absolutely cute if I put a doll on it.
But,
no matter how much I looked,
there wasn't one in the right size.
"If it doesn't exist, I'll just make it."
When you do handmade crafts,
you naturally start to think that way.
Instead of conforming to ready-made products,
you can make things to fit your own "I want to do this."
I think that is
the best part of handmade crafts.

Even without a lot of "likes,"
these little ones are truly here.
They might still be small existences for now.
But, moving my hands like this,
and having them increase little by little,
is an important time for me.
Rabbit No. 3 and No. 4.
I think I'll make some clothes that suit them again.
This is my story.
The story has just begun.
I will continue to evolve.
...hopefully💧
