The risks of talking about your dreams, and the risks of not talking about them.
Are you the type to talk about your dreams, or the type to keep them to yourself?
I am the type who talks about them.
I apologize for using personal data, but almost all the dreams I have spoken aloud have come true. I believe that especially when it comes to dreams that involve other people, it is better to talk about them repeatedly.
I have made a few small declarations here on note as well. Writing every day, creating a website on WordPress, starting on LinkedIn, and entering the 2023 note Creative Awards—these were all high hurdles for me, but they have all come true.
People often say to wait until the environment is right, but the environment will never be right if you just wait, haha. That is why I believe it is better to start small with what you can do.
I was often told that it would be impossible while caregiving, but interestingly, my mother herself changed. It was because my mother learned that I, her daughter, had things I wanted to do.
From that time on, my mother began to live more positively every day, thinking she could not be a burden to me. Therefore, I frequently share the progress of my dreams with my mother.
I have involved my mother in my dreams, and those dreams have become a reason for her to live as well.
There are many dreams I have spoken of so far. Once you say them out loud, strangely enough, you get used to talking about them.
At first it feels awkward, but after saying them a few times, it starts to feel like a normal thing.
When I let go of the house I had lived in for a long time, I first talked about my dream. As I talked about it, it eventually became like a decided matter for our family. Then everyone began to share the image of our new life, and after two moves, we arrived at where we are now.
When I became a freelancer, I also started talking about it about a year in advance. Of course, at first, I was treated as if I were saying something strange, but a year later, my family accepted me working as a freelancer as a normal thing.
However, there are times when people laugh at you.
But I feel that I don't have time to worry about that.
People get used to anything. Even if you are laughed at a little, small successful experiences will support you when you feel like giving up.
So, my dream for the second half of this fiscal year is.
I want to start giving lectures.
Until now, I have written articles about women's labor on note and talked about it on Stand.fm. We are currently in a society where it is truly difficult for women to work. This is a problem that we, the people involved, must think about and address. And finally, the content I want to talk about has become clear to me.
From now on, I want to talk about those things to women.

I believe that the biggest hurdle for a dream is simply speaking it out loud. But today, I was able to take that first step.
And I feel that if you keep your dreams hidden, they will never take shape.
I believe there is a risk in not talking about your dreams.
*Thank you for reading until the end.
*I also talk about this on Stand.fm.
