Grateful for the connections.
I don't think we can know what tomorrow will bring.
Until tomorrow comes, you never know what might happen. That is why I think people hesitate, stop in their tracks, or turn back.
I have been running a crowdfunding campaign since November 17th. The theme is "I want to change how women work."
That said, I have thought many times that crowdfunding is an activity that doesn't suit me and that I should just quit.
This was an activity I started because someone recommended it to me.
"Isn't it interesting? You don't say that men are the problem. That's a rare way of thinking. You should definitely do crowdfunding. You know, if a man says the same thing as you, he gets attacked. So, please say it."
That is what one man told me. That was the beginning.
Even so, crowdfunding was an activity that was quite difficult for me to come to terms with.
After all, I am a very cautious type. I am not the type to voluntarily take on such an activity.
Looking back, I have never stepped into the spotlight this much in my life.
I have the physical and mental strength, but I have always lived my life supporting someone else. I am not the type to be in the spotlight. I like that way of living, and it was comfortable.
However, this time, for the first time, I have ended up in the front.
Along the way, I thought that there was no need to take such a risk at this point, and that since I am already over sixty, I should just quietly reflect on my life. My family, of course, strongly wished for that.
Even so, strange things happen, and there was a flow I couldn't resist, to the point where I wondered if this was a plan already built into my life.
There are people who say they listen to my Stand.fm broadcasts while clutching their phones. Such people are supporting my activities with a sense of desperation.
And, it's not just one person.
So, I can't just throw it all away now.
Having said that, I am a coward.
This cowardly me was surprised this morning.
There are men among the supporters, aren't there?
Moreover, it is not just one, but multiple men who are supporting me.
Even though my activities are focused on changing how women work, I have started receiving support from men.
Among them are several men I met on note. Yes, these are people I have interacted with through note until now. Could there be anything more encouraging than this?
I want to use the phrase 'changing how women work,' but I am the one who knows best just how powerful those words are.
That is precisely why I was surprised by the support from men.
I am so happy that I am trembling, realizing that words can reach people so directly like this.
I truly feel from the bottom of my heart that I am glad I have been active on note.
Life is better with detours and wandering; I have been posting slowly with that mindset, and I must have connected with people because of it. I think this is a miracle.
To everyone who supported me, thank you so much.
*Thank you for your support through crowdfunding. I have chosen the All-in type, so even if the target amount is not reached, the support I have received will definitely be put to use for my activities. I would also be happy if you could cooperate by sharing and spreading the word. Thank you for your support.
