📺️My encounter with the Bayside series
One day, before I was married, while I was working at a certain variety store, a staff member highly recommended a drama to me, and that was Bayside Shakedown.
Although I thought it sounded interesting, at the time, employees were basically on the late shift. I was still at the shop during the drama's airtime, so I couldn't watch it.
A few years later, my then-boyfriend and now ex-husband and I rented the video (so old-school😁) and watched it, and because we thought it was incredibly funny, we ended up binge-watching it. That was the start.
I love this drama so much that I've seen the entire series, including the subsequent movies and spin-offs😘
After that, even after I got married, it was rebroadcast on commercial TV and JCOM to promote the movies, wasn't it?😊 At that time, my eldest son watched it with me, so he's a huge fan too💕
When I told my eldest son that it was available on TVer this time, he said,
"We have to watch that"👍️ 😁
Come to think of it, I learned from this drama that there are career and non-career police officers. I didn't really think of police officers as civil servants before that💦
Aoshima-kun's straightforwardness is great, one of my favorite actresses, Eri Fukatsu, is cute, I can understand Muroi-san's struggles, (I love Muroi-san's furrowed brow💕), Waku-san is cool, the Three Amigos are too laid-back😂 Every character that appears is great✨️
And last night, I watched the first episode👀
I heard the opening theme for the first time in a while! Just that alone gets me excited😆
I also love Muroi-san's theme song💕
And besides, the drama is interesting no matter how many times I watch it✨️
There are so many little jokes and scenes that make me chuckle, and the first episode was over in a flash😆 I'm looking forward to dinner time starting tomorrow!
The setting is Odaiba, which was still under development. It was back when there was no Ferris wheel yet🎡 Well, it's gone now too though💦
I used to go to Odaiba often before I was married, and there was a hotel we stayed at at least once a year even after we were married, so even the roads feel nostalgic.
So, I'm going to enjoy the Bayside Project during dinner time this autumn✨️

❓️What are you talking about

Muroi-san in the drama somehow looks like my father. Maybe it's the coat he wears or the shape and size of his head?
Of course, Muroi-san is younger, and instead of a furrowed brow, my father had plenty of laugh lines😁
Come to think of it, my stylish father wore long-sleeved dress shirts even in summer.
That's why it was cold when I rode in my father's car on his way home from work! He had the air conditioning on max💦
When I asked him why he didn't wear short sleeves...
He said, 'I don't wear them because the sweat from my arms would ruin my suits.'
He used to wear suits ordered from a tailor in Ginza, after all👍️
I wondered why he did that when he was so sensitive to heat, but I, who would wear a miniskirt and bare legs even in midwinter for the sake of fashion (when I was young, okay? lol), have completely inherited my father's blood😂

🎵Aside: Maxi Priest
What surprised me when I first watched the drama was the theme song🎵
The one singing with Yuji Oda was Maxi Priest !
He is a reggae artist I love✨️
I love his English pronunciation💕

Going off on a slight tangent, here are 3 recommended songs🎵
A collaboration song with Chaka Demus, who was active in the UK and elsewhere in the 90s and is popular worldwide✨️

I love communicating, so
I'd be happy if you left a comment✨️
It would also be a great encouragement if you could perform actions like clicking 'Like'💕
