[Stocks] Weekly Report (up to 2025/9/5)

Hello. This is Umanari @ Stocks. I am here again with my weekly stock investment report. This is strictly a personal memorandum.

My Holdings This Week

Japanese individual stocks weekly +0.6%
There were no particularly major developments throughout the week. I wonder if the stock market's reaction to the weekend's employment statistics was muted? At the moment, it's down slightly. While the U.S. will likely cut interest rates, I feel the economy is in pretty bad shape to begin with. That said, I don't think it's worth moving my portfolio. Boring investing continues (and boring investing is a good thing!).
The portfolio saw a slight increase of +0.6% for the week, remaining mostly flat. It continues to band-walk just below the YH. Among my holdings, JR Central, Metawater, INPEX, and Kondotec are performing well. Entertainment stocks continue to adjust.

Personally, I spend my days thinking about how to proceed toward the end of September, when the total annual dividend amount will be finalized. I have many candidates for new purchases and adding to positions, but I don't have the money. Since I can't buy everything, I have no choice but to compare and choose.

Also, with my main job entering the new semester, the time I can spend on investing has decreased significantly. It's fine since I've structured my portfolio to manage even if I leave it alone, but... it is fun to think about stocks after all. I'll keep my main job in moderation.

Trades This Week

Buy: 10 shares of Sony.
Come to think of it, I wonder how the partial spin-off of Sony Group will affect the stock price. I can pretty much imagine it, but I'm looking forward to the price movement at the end of September.

Indicators

25-day Advance-Decline Ratio 132 (127 last weekend)
Fear & Greed Index 53 (NEUTRAL) (67 last weekend)

Nikkei 225
Closing price 43018 (42718 last weekend)
25MA 42407 (+1.65% from current price)
PER 17.77
PBR 1.57
EPS 2420
BPS 27400

The Advance-Decline Ratio has risen slightly. Since exactly one month ago was when lightning struck Japanese stocks, the Advance-Decline Ratio is likely to drop for about another 8 business days. If I look only at the Advance-Decline Ratio, I think the sense of overheating will subside around next week or the week after... It's not a level to actively add to positions, but since the Advance-Decline Ratio often continues its trend when it's high, it's wise to wait and see. I won't be short-selling, nor will I be selling to secure cash position.

Portfolio Status

Japanese Stocks Top 10 by Market Value

SBI
Nintendo
Bandai Namco
JR Central
Metawater
INPEX (↑)
Mitsubishi UFJ (↓)
FuRyu
JR Kyushu
Kondotec
(In addition to the above, I hold 15 other stocks, for a total of 25 stocks)

There were no sales or purchases in the top portfolio holdings. Due to stock price fluctuations, the rankings of INPEX and Mitsubishi UFJ have swapped. SBI's share in the portfolio has risen to about 17%, which is a concern as its contribution is too high. But SBI has many catalysts and still looks undervalued. I am considering rebalancing, but I'm struggling with what to do.
