3-Line Daily Life Diary | Zombie at Home
"It's like there's a walker in the house."
My husband said from behind me.
For a second, I thought, "Huh?" but as soon as I understood what he meant, laughter welled up inside me.
Right now, I'm on bed rest due to a lumbar disc herniation.
Dragging my numb leg, I was walking through the house surprisingly slowly, one step at a time, making sure not to send any shockwaves through my leg.
The "walker" my husband mentioned refers to the zombies from "The Walking Dead."
Hearing that, I tried to imagine what I looked like from behind.
The way I drag my foot. The abnormally slow speed.
It really might be identical.
At that moment, I hit my funny bone.
Since then,
"Walker coming through!"
I say that as I walk around the house.
It hurts, but I can't help but laugh. Even though laughing makes my lower back ache, I just can't stop.
Even in a situation like this, there are moments where I can laugh.
I have family who will laugh with me.
I felt a little bit saved.
I want to turn back into a human soon.
