I am a Plaster Artist
After a year of repeated introspection, I realized that creative activities are what give me vitality.
Furthermore, I realized that time spent connecting with nature, time spent on myself, and time spent thinking of others become the seeds for my creative work.
With a little more time and mental space, it was a year where I was able to do a lot of the creative work I love.
I made botanical candles that I had wanted to try, and I gained the joy of creating and the rich time spent lighting the candles.
I ended up making so many that I couldn't light them all, which led to selling them at a market. There, I was so happy to have people resonate with my thoughts, compliment my work, and purchase it, making me feel like I might have helped create a wonderful moment for someone else.

At one point, I held a private lesson in response to a request to make a panel using plaster.
That person was delighted, saying it was even more fun and turned out better than they had imagined.
From there, things progressed smoothly to holding a workshop, and my motivation soared.
I created many pieces that also served as samples.
The workshop was a huge success, and the feeling that I wanted to spread this even further began to well up.
At the same time, I started getting excited, wondering if there was even more I could do with plaster.
At that time, I was worried about what to do for next year's calendar, so I found and purchased a calendar with plenty of blank space that allowed me to create an original one. Then, I painted abstract art on the blank spaces with plaster just as I liked.

This was well-received by those around me, and I received another happy request to hold a workshop!
They even provided the venue.
When I announced that I could also sell them, I received messages from people wanting to buy them.
I am grateful to have many friends around me who gently push me forward and support me.
I immediately created the calendar data, bought the paper, and printed it. ← This process is also fun!
The base for the 12-month calendar and the annual calendar turned out exactly as I had imagined.

With all that said, I am covered in plaster every day.
I think I will call myself a plaster artist.
