There are only four Sentai-themed watches. My teammates must be somewhere in Japan

Sentai shows, programs for children. They are produced overseas too, and it seems they are quite considerate about the balance of race and gender there. This is a story related to such Sentai shows.


Village Vanguard, the bookstore where you can play. I wonder how well-known it is in this Reiwa era. I wonder if it's a major store.


Commonly known as Village Van, it's a cluttered store that sells not just books but also miscellaneous goods. Was Aichi the location of the first store? The book lineup is quite unique. If I say that books like Dogra Magra or those by Ramo Nakajima are displayed flat, you might understand the atmosphere.


There was one in Osaka too, and as a book lover, I used to go there once a week when I was a student.


There was a wristwatch corner in that store. They didn't sell major brands like Citizen or Seiko, but rather a lineup with a bit of a quirk and eccentric designs.


There were Sentai-themed wristwatches. Mask designs. Red, green, yellow, white. A watch for some kind of -ger.


Blue is missing. There are only four.


Isn't blue the handsome character in Sentai? Someone must have bought only the blue one.


I'm curious. Who bought the blue one?


For now, I bought the white one. It should have been about 5,000 yen. That's because at first glance, it doesn't look like a Sentai-themed watch. I thought it was stylish.


With this, what's left on the display are red, green, and yellow. Like a traffic light.


After a few weeks, the Sentai-themed watches were gone. Someone must have bought them.


That means, well.


Somewhere in Japan, no, in Osaka, my teammates must be out there. The white me. Red, blue, yellow, green. My Sentai teammates must be somewhere. The watch Sentai Tick-Tock-Ger on our wrists are somewhere in Osaka, never having been assembled as a team of five. I wonder if the commander will ever summon us.


Wait a minute. My watch is white. In Sentai shows, white is the female role that acts as the idol. However, I am a middle-aged man. If there were a summons and I went to the scene, wouldn't I stand out terribly? Handsome guy, handsome guy, handsome guy, skip one, handsome guy. Wouldn't I end up like Kimimaro?


Let's go look for my teammates. I tried to send a request to Knight Scoop to 'please find the other Sentai members,' but I gave up on it for some reason. I couldn't think of an interesting scene, so I felt like a director and decided on my own that it was a no-go.


I was cleaning out my closet at home and found the 'white wristwatch,' which reminded me of today's story.


How old are my Sentai teammates from back then now? The summons still hasn't come.
