How to Register for 'Introduction to Theory U'

This article explains how to register for 'Introduction to Theory U', one of the programs offered by u-school.

(0) Things to do before registering

You must first register as a user on u-school and sign in (log in) to the website.
While you can do this during the registration process, completing it beforehand will make the subsequent steps easier.

1. Register as a user (Sign in to u-school)

Click the u-school icon from the three icons visible on the side of the page, specifically the 'person icon' (circled in red in the image).

A login screen will appear; click 'Sign up as new member'.

A form for entering the personal information required for user registration will appear.

Enter the following items (bold text indicates required fields).

• Title: Optional

• First name: Required

• Middle name: Optional

• Last name: Required

• Email: Required

• Create Password: Required

• Confirm Password: Required
  *Please enter the password you created again.

• I am joining from…: Optional

  • Enter the region (country) you are joining from.

  • By entering the city and country name in English into "Choose location," it will be automatically reflected in the "Currently selected address" field below.

  • When entering an address within Japan, the city name may not be reflected correctly, but please do not worry about this. In that case, you can simply enter "japan" into "Choose location" and it will be fine.

  Please check as many of the following items as you like.

After entering the information, check "I agree with Presencing Institute terms of services and privacy policies" at the bottom of the form (required), and click the
"SIGN UP" button.

The following screen will be displayed.

② Verify your email address

An automated email containing the following content has been sent to you from "u-school" at the address you registered; please click the confirmation link.

The confirmation link is labeled "Confirm Registration", so click it (you will be taken to an external page).

Once you are redirected to the screen above, your user registration (sign-in to u-school) is complete.

[In such cases] If you are asked to sign in (log in) while working on the "u-school" site

If you are asked to sign in (log in) while working on "u-school" as shown below...

Enter your registered address in "Email address", enter your registered password in "Password", and click the "SIGN IN" button. This will sign you in (log you in).

By the way, if you want the browser to remember your information to save the trouble of signing in (logging in) next time, you should check "Remember me".

(1) How to register for "Introduction to Theory U"

You can easily register with a single button from the "u-school" "Introduction to Theory U" course page. You can register easily with one button.
After registering, you can start learning immediately at any time.

"Introduction to Theory U" course page When you access the page, the following screen will be displayed. Click
"REGISTER" (red circle in the figure).

Next, enter the required items on the following screen (optional; you can proceed without entering them), and click "NEXT STEP".

Registration for "Introduction to Theory U" is complete (screen below).

After that, you will also receive a completion email for your "Introduction to Theory U" registration from "u-school", so please check that as well.

At this point, a "≡" mark has been added to the three icons visible next to the course page, making it four.
You can open and close the course content by pressing the "≡" mark.

Please watch the delivered videos while clicking the "+" mark to proceed with your self-study (only some videos support Japanese subtitles).

Please note that while the term "u-lab 0x" may appear on some pages, this is the former program name for "Introduction to Theory U."
