Things My Beloved Cats Do That Make Me Happy | A Doting Owner's Record

My beloved cats, Chupe and Chapi. Ever since I welcomed them into my home, my life has completely revolved around them. Or rather, I am ruled by them.

Even when nothing special happens, a single little gesture can blow away all the fatigue of the day, and just having them around makes me feel warm inside.
I also get this feeling like, 'I didn't do much today, but I took care of the cats, so I did my best!'

Today, this cat-loving owner has compiled a list of things my beloved cats do that make me happy.

🐾 Chupe's Section

① Licking my face in the morning
When I wake up in the morning, Chupe licks my face.

I'm sure he's asking for food, but as an owner, I like to think he's saying 'Good morning' to me.

On days when I want to sleep in and think 'Ugh,' having Chupe wake me up and demand breakfast gives me the motivation I need to get going.

② Following me everywhere
Chupe is usually cool. He's not the type to be overly clingy, but I always notice him in the same room as me.

He's the type to silently follow me from behind when I move. When I stand in the kitchen, he waits for me to open the gate. He also follows me into the bedroom as if it's the most natural thing in the world.

③ The pressure when he wants affection is intense
When Chupe's 'I want affection' switch is flipped, he boldly climbs onto my laptop.
He completely covers the screen, forcing me to stop working and take a break 😂.

It's also unfair how he comes up next to the sofa, narrows his eyes, and silently pressures me to 'Pet me?'

Recently, since his little sister Chapi arrived, it's a bit sad that he seems a little hesitant.
I just want him to know he can be as clingy as he wants.

④ Pressing his butt against me
When I'm sitting on the sofa, for some reason, he presses his butt right up against me.
I think it probably means, 'Chupe wants to sit there, move over human,' but I interpret it as him wanting to be close to me, haha.

I pretty much interpret all of my cats' actions in a way that suits me.

⑤ Accepting tooth brushing and being held
When he was a kitten, he would go wild during tooth brushing and being held.
Lately, he just lets me do it with a face that says, 'I guess I have no choice...'

Maybe we've built a bond of trust? He's become such a good cat who lets me take care of him.

👶 Chapi's Section

① Going all out when she senses food!
When I start preparing food, she follows me around, meowing with all her might.

She runs around so much that she sometimes bumps into my feet... I have to be careful because it's dangerous, but even that is cute.

② Loud Purring from the Morning
When Chapi wakes up in the morning,
he wanders around the humans while purring with a loud "purr-purr, purr-purr" sound.

He climbs onto my stomach or crawls under the covers. He just won't stop rubbing against me and purring!

③ Sleeping Together in Maximum Cuddle Mode
When his cuddle switch is on, he sometimes snuggles right into my arms to sleep with me.

When I realize there's a warm little living creature beside me, my heart just fills up.

④ Not Biting the Owner
Chapi never bites humans at all!
(Chupe bites immediately if he doesn't like something. That's cute too, though.)

I love the tyrant Chupe too, but Chapi's fragility is irresistible.
He bites his big brother Chupe, so why doesn't he bite his owner?

⑤ Jealousy Displays Are Cute
When I'm petting Chupe, he interrupts with "meow" or "purr" sounds. He has that "Pet me too!!!!" look on his face.

Sometimes I get super busy petting Chupe with my right hand and Chapi with my left.
A happy, busy time.

Everything revolves around the cat's standards.

Before I knew it, my days became all about trying to keep the cat happy—from meal times and sleep times to the moments between work.

My life is completely dominated by my cat, but I'm just so happy!

I think I'll spend the rest of my life being pushed around by my beloved cat, constantly saying "You're so cute no matter what you do!!" 😂

A life centered around cats is the best!!!
