A Year From Now, I'll Say "I Love It So Much"
I dyed my hair a bit darker than usual today. It's for job hunting. I also bought a suit. The only suit I owned was a single recruitment suit.
When I tried it on, the skirt length showed my knees, and I felt quite uneasy. Since I can't walk around trying to hide my legs, I decided to take the plunge and buy a new one.
It's certainly not a high-end suit, but I wanted to buy something good. I believe that being properly dressed conveys to the other party more than the words "I want to work for you" ever could. I didn't want to cut any corners.
If I truly understand my own desires, and the other party understands them too, how wonderful would that be? Just that alone would make me so happy. I could even toast to it.
I don't think I'm someone who makes choices that lead to success in life. Even if I used the standard of right or wrong, I probably wouldn't be on the passing line.
But that is exactly why I want to feel this way a year from now. I want to say out loud that I "love" my life so much.
Even though there were many failures and tough times. I want to make it a year from now where I can laugh and say, "It was so good," about both what lies ahead from the choices I just made and the path I have walked so far.
Now, it's a fresh start. Let's begin.
See you again.
