The reason I belong to the "Writing Club."
I belong to the "Writing Club" hosted by Kotoba-san. Looking back, several years have already passed.
The reason I joined was just by chance. To put it coolly, it was "fate."
Around that time, I desperately wanted to become better at writing. It was a true coincidence, but I happened to find an article by Kotoba-san where they announced, "I am starting writing coaching." It was a mysterious phenomenon; you really do get what you wish for.
Wait, I can read this person's writing so smoothly. I was surprised. But this feeling was the important point for what followed. After thinking about it for a few days, I decided in my heart, "Alright. I'll ask this person," and joining the Writing Club was the beginning.
So why have I continued for so many years? Simply because it is a comfortable place to be.
Those who have been reading my articles probably know, but there were days when I wrote a lot every single day. And then, especially lately, my update frequency has been sporadic.
That is why I firmly believe this with conviction. Whether I am writing or not, the distance between me and the Writing Club is always constant. What does that mean?
There is no structure where those who can write reign supreme or sit at the top of a pyramid, while those who cannot write tremble in submission. Similarly, there is no hierarchy based on how many years you have been a member. Therefore, at any time and in any situation, the place I imagined for myself exists within the Writing Club.
If you want to write, you can write. When you cannot write, you can just spill your honest feelings, saying, "I just can't write." Since these are people who chose the text-based SNS called note, at the root, they are all people who love "writing."
Sure, there are days when things get heated. There are also days when I feel cold and lonely. On days when you are lost and troubled like that, you can just consult Kotoba-san. You can just drop by the Writing Club lounge. It is not a place where you have to respond to anything. It is a safe place where you can be relaxed.
That is why I belong to the Writing Club.
