A Room is a Mirror of the Heart🪞🛋️
For some reason, my heart feels restless and unsettled. For some reason, my heart feels hurried and busy.
Whenever that happens, it is always when my room is messy.
Things are scattered all over the table,
and the dishes in the kitchen are left out. Left unwashed.
The laundry hanging in the room,
once dry, is just used directly from the rack without being put away.
I know the cause of my restlessness.
Work came up on my day off, and my travel preparations were left incomplete. Moreover, since it is a task in an area I am not good at, I feel heavy-hearted until it is finished.
I really wanted to make some pre-prepared meals for my husband, who is going out of his way to come home to take care of our pet.
But then, suddenly,
“When your heart is unsettled, that is exactly when you should clean your room,”I thought, and started tidying up after dinner.
And then, would you believe it?My mind became increasingly organized, and I started to feel like things would work out.
I also started to feel like I could manage to make some simple pre-prepared meals.
A room is a mirror that reflects the heart.
Which means...If you tidy your room, your heart becomes organized.
If you put your heart in order, your room becomes tidy.Does the room come first, or the heart?
Whichever comes first, only benefits await.
