I've summarized tips for selling paid notes (free)
Hello.
Today, I will talk about the theme of
how to sell paid notes.
I feel like yesterday's marketing article
was read quite a bit.
That article is here ↓
Thinking there might be people who want to know
more concrete methods,
I wrote down tips for selling paid articles
that you often see on note.
If you read this article,
you will find tips and hints
for selling paid articles.
I've written it concretely, so
please sell your articles and
gain some confidence ^^
Oh, and also,
I will talk at the end about why
I don't sell paid articles.
There is a deep reason for this...
Since I've written it at the end,
please try reading through
from the beginning.
See you then~
[Tips for selling paid notes]
1. Write an article
When writing an article,
make sure it solves
people's problems.
I recommend
things you struggled with in the past
but were able to solve.
For example,
--------------------------
・How to deal with difficult subordinates
・Tips for making a bento in 15 minutes in the morning
・11 ways to relieve stress
・Summary of recommended smartphone apps
--------------------------
Aim to make readers feel
that the article was helpful.
And, write as
specifically as possible.
The reason is,
try putting yourself
in the reader's shoes.
(This is an important point
that applies to everything.)
When you read an article
and think, "I'll give this a try,"
if it's not written specifically, you can't execute it.
If you can't execute it,
your own problems won't be solved,
so you'll feel frustrated.
If that frustration continues, eventually,
"What is this article?
I don't know what to do.
I'm never buying from them again."
That's what will happen.
(So sad)
That is precisely why you should write
your articles concretely.
------------------------
*However, there is one exception:
articles that tell a story are different.
In story-based articles, you are providing
an experience that moves emotions,
such as being interesting, moving, or surprising.
(The same goes for movies
or haunted houses, right?)
In this case, it's less about being concrete and more about whether it is interesting as a story.
2 Promote it
Just writing a paid article on note
and leaving it there
won't make it sell easily.
Note is considered a stock-type asset,
so you have to wait
until someone finds it.
Since just waiting
makes it statistically unlikely to be bought,
you should promote it on social media.
Post about it on X, Threads, etc.,
and get many people
to read it.
Here is one key point:
Whether on note, Threads, or X,
keep your paid article
pinned to your profile.
Make your flagship product
stand out!
And it is perfectly fine to promote it
repeatedly, even to the point of being persistent.
This is because
X and Threads are what we call flow-based media,
where content constantly streams by.
Think of them like
commercials, and
tweet a lot.
Also, since it flows by,
more than you think,
no one is seeing it multiple times.
3. Improve the free section of your paid article
First, as a major premise, customers
are not buying your product.
For those who thought, 'Huh?'
there is also this article ↓
What customers are buying is
the ideal future after reading the article.
That is precisely why
you should write in a way that shows
that ideal future.
Specifically, it looks like this
↓
【In the case of tips for making a bento in 10 minutes in the morning】
Hello. This is XX.
Actually, I
can make a bento every day now, but
at first, I couldn't even
make a rolled omelet.
Despite that,
now, my family tells me it's delicious,
and I'm also saving money,
cutting 5,000 yen
off my food expenses every month.
With the 5,000 yen I saved, I can
occasionally buy a treat like cake,
and I'm able to let my child
attend the lessons they want.
(Present your ideal future first to
grab their interest!)
I have an acquaintance who
is bad at cooking,
and when I taught them my tips
for making bento boxes,
they said things like,
"This is so easy!" and "Thanks for teaching me."
(Adding testimonials from others around here
will add to your persuasiveness)
(If you have any, you should include them.
I'll tell you how to do that later too.)
--------------------------------
I'm clumsy, and I'm the type who
wants to sleep until the very last minute in the morning.
Since I started incorporating
these bento-making tips,
○ I can sleep an extra 15 minutes every morning
○ With the extra time,
I can even have a slow coffee time
all to myself
○ At lunch, I don't have to go out
of my way to buy a bento, so
I can spend my free time relaxing
while watching YouTube
You can live a daily life like this.
(Try writing down the ideal future
you can imagine)
----------------------------------
But this isn't something
I could only do because it's me.
It's something anyone can do.
As I wrote at the beginning, I
couldn't even make a rolled omelet
I'm always just talk and never
a procrastinator.
Even someone like me
was able to do it
once I grasped certain tips.
(I'll share things that are reproducible and doable by anyone)
(By doing this, people will think, 'I might be able to do this too!')
------------------------
However, until I grasped the tips for making bento boxes,
my mornings were always a frantic rush
and I would get frustrated
with my children and husband.
In the end, it was just about grasping the tips quickly
and putting them into practice every morning.
That was all it took.
Conversely,
if you don't know the tips,
you'll end up wasting time
and spending your days
complaining every morning.
(I'm adding a little spice by
stoking some fear)
(This is a binary writing style where
if you do A you get B, but
if you don't do A you end up with C)
------------------------
It took me a while to grasp these tips,
so I don't want you
to waste your time.
In this article, I have
summarized the 11 tips
that worked well for me.
Even if there are many,
they are meaningless if you can't use them,
so I've narrowed them down to things you can really practice
and included them in this article.
I would be happy if reading this article
makes making bento boxes even a little bit easier
for you.
I wrote this
with those feelings in mind.
(Convey your own beliefs)
ーーーーーーーーーーーー
If you write like this,
people will want to buy.
When people buy things,
Indifference
↓
Interest
↓
Desire
↓
Fear
they go through these stages.
The previous text
is written in a way
to move emotions like this.
(This is just one example.
I actually wanted to put more effort into writing it,
but there's no end to it...)
Finally!
Try researching the genre
you want to sell in.
Take a look at about three
free sections of paid articles.
Including the way I wrote earlier,
if you write similarly to those people,
you won't fail miserably.
4 Collect reviews
As I wrote earlier,
reviews provide authority.
Don't you look at them when you buy products yourself?
It's a bit of a hassle, but if you can,
I recommend giving it a try.
Before selling your article,
recruit free monitors!
Write it in a pinned post on X or Threads and
try calling out for people.
Call out for the first 20 people!
Have them read the article while it's free for now and
ask for their feedback.
(The idea is that if you have 20 people,
you'll usually get feedback from about 10 of them.)
When no one responds,
go to where people who might want the article are
and it's okay to
reach out to them directly.
If they agree,
send them the article via DM.
(For note, copy the share URL
while it is in draft status and send it.)
Once you have collected feedback,
paste it into the free section of your paid article.
For example,
here is what people who read this article had to say↓
Paste the images one after another.
With this, your testimonials are complete.
※When you publish the article as paid, the free monitors
will no longer be able to see it.
When publishing a paid article, duplicate it and then publish it.
5 Pricing
"Limited time discount price"
"The price will increase in the future"
It is better to implement measures like these.
Because
it gives them a reason to buy now.
Humans are creatures that do not want to lose out.
Make them think,
I have to take action!
I have to buy this now!
And
you can change the price later.
To start with, even 100 yen is fine, so
just get them to buy it anyway.
Bonus
When you lack confidence,
setting up a refund policy
also leads to peace of mind for the customer.

How about trying to sell
paid articles like this? ^^
P.S.
Q: Why don't I sell paid articles?
A: Because it's a hassle.
(That's half honest and half a lie. lol)
(I'll write the reason somewhere else again)
P.S. 2
I wrote this method
by applying the knowledge
I learned about business.
If you learn the basics of business,
there are many other ways
to sell paid notes.
(I'm tired from writing this
on my phone,
so I'm just putting it out there for now)
If there's demand, maybe I'll write more~
I wrote this to prove that
if you learn the principles of human purchasing behavior
and how to write documents,
you can apply them to paid note articles as well.
I hope this is helpful to you ^^
So, please give it a try!
PS
Here is a book I created that is packed with the basics of business↓
I am currently giving away for free what I used to sell for 1,200 yen.

AND MORE!!
I have also prepared 3 additional major bonuses for those who provide feedback on the book!
Honestly...
even just this
is a video that could be a product...
[Bonus 1] Don't be employed by anyone! How to work while being free from time and money (45 minutes)
[Bonus 2] Efficiently turn people into fans! Blog/NOTE strategy (24 minutes)
[Bonus 3] ~God-tier Article~ What is the article that successful people always write?! (40 minutes)
