Surpassing 300 Days of the Challenge! Online Report Meeting with Friends
[311 Musubi] gao (Porcini Cheese Risotto Grilled)
The challenge of eating an onigiri and writing a food report every day has now exceeded 300 days.
Actually, the goal of this challenge is 1000 consecutive days.
In other words, it is a 1000-day challenge.
It is an incredibly grand challenge that will take over three years to reach the finish line.
Accomplishing this requires significant resolve and effort.
However, this challenge is not a lonely one.
There are friends who started their own separate 1000-day challenges around the same time.
(The background on how I started the 1000-day challenge is here)
And the other day, a "Challenge 300-Day Report Meeting" was held in the form of an online drinking party to commemorate passing the 300-day mark.
My friends' challenges are diverse.
・Continuing to eat chocolate
・Drinking tea and reporting on it
・Visiting cafes
・Making hot sandwiches
・Reporting on white bread
・Reporting on SDGs
・Continuing to study English
・Running
・Working out
・Living a low-carb lifestyle
・Reading a book and reporting on it every day
・Continuing to take portrait photos
etc
Anyway, there are friends doing various other challenges, and seeing them work hard is encouraging.
Many members are posting their series on note, Twitter, and Instagram using #1000DayChallenge, so please take a look.

Since it's a party to celebrate passing 300 days, I chose a special onigiri!
From the mail-order set of winged grilled onigiri, a collaboration between Numata Nori and gao,
I chose "Porcini Cheese Risotto"!Wait, what is this?
It's frozen, so it's ready in a minute and a half in the microwave!

"Porcini Cheese Risotto" translates directly to "Porcini Cheese Risotto"
In short, it's a risotto grilled rice ball.
Actually, it seems to be a popular item at gao's shop, and it was even featured on 'Matsuko no Shiranai Sekai'.
Let's try eating it right away.
First, the crispy edges on the outside. A crunchy texture.
It's delicious, like a cheese snack.

And now, diving into the center rice ball part that I've been curious about.
Oh, a chewy texture!
It really is risotto!!
Minced porcini mushrooms and plenty of cheese. An authentic, chewy risotto, somehow turned into a rice ball!
This is my first time having this, but it's incredibly delicious!!!
This day became a commemoration of surpassing 300 days.
I received some great inspiration for my next goal.
Thank you for the meal!
