"#CreativeAwardEntry" Amazing results are in! [1 Winner, 5 Semi-finalists, 2 Best Reviewers]
《1572nd consecutive day!》
Happy Halloween~!!!
(with high energy)
Today, I have some happy news to share.
The final results for the "Creative Award 2023" were announced this past Friday.
Although my own work didn't make it past the semi-finals...
I was able to receive a wonderful award called the Best Reviewer Award.
I received the Best Reviewer Award because this project, which supported other creators who were also challenging themselves in the Creative Award, was recognized.
That project is this one right here.
"A Creative Award Entry"
One Work for the Creative Awards
Please tell us which of the works you submitted to the Creative Awards is your most confident piece! Please nominate yourself!
Hasutsuka and everyone will support it with all our might.
A total of 29 people participated in this project.
The works of everyone who participated were truly wonderful.
I wrote introduction articles, provided support, and gave recommendations so that many people would read them.
The amazing thing about this project is...
The results were actually incredible.
Wonderfully, among these 29 companions, there were actually 5 people who passed the semi-finals!
(I have reported on this in detail here)
Out of 33,981 entries, just how amazing is it to be chosen as one of the 202 works...
I have nothing but respect.
And what's more...
That wasn't the only surprise.
The results of the final judging...
Rina Shoka was successfully selected as a winner in the [Illustration Story Category].
Clap clap clap clap
It's just too incredible. I'm beyond happy; I'm simply moved.
To think that a winner would come from the group I worked with!
I also had the chance to speak with Rina Shoka at the awards ceremony venue.
She was just as wonderful as her work~
Here is Rina Shoka's winning entry!
Rina Shoka
"Glass Birdcage" Episode 1: Gritty Tranquility (1)
[Illustration Story Category]
It was during the Taisho era that the demon nests were destroyed by exorcists. In various countries, the Cross Association, an organization of exorcists, still exists today, dealing with the demons that were missed back then.
The story is set at an academy built on a remote island, established by the Association to train successors.
Chemistry teacher Chikage Hayasegawa and second-year high school student Momoka Hayasegawa are famous as beautiful sisters from a historic exorcist family, but in reality, Momoka is a boy. Furthermore, he is an adopted child.
Momoka, a key figure who holds the fate of the Association in his hands, and Chikage, who was born with the destiny to die as his substitute.
What will become of the souls of these two, bound by unbreakable chains...
(The comment I wrote)
The imagination used to expand the story from a single illustration is simply wonderful!
And, such a surprising premise.
I am so looking forward to the story that will unfold within this absolute setting.
Thank you for letting me read such a wonderful work 😊
Furthermore, the happy news keeps coming.
Zero no Kami / Copywriter has won the Best Reviewer Award.
To think that Zero no Kami, who I worked with, won the Best Reviewer Award.
Zero no Kami also made it through the semi-finals with their own work, so it's just too amazing.
I spoke with them at the awards ceremony, and I really thought they were a talented person.
So...
"One Piece for Creative Awards" was able to achieve the following results: 5 semi-finalists, 1 final winner, and 2 Best Reviewer awards.
To everyone who worked on this with me, and to everyone who supported us.
Thank you so much!
