I have some happy news to share with everyone today.

The notification arrived suddenly!!

Ding-a-ling.

Wow!

My photos in the Everyone's Photo Gallery have been used a total of 4,000 times!

Recently, the way the note timeline looks has changed; the beginning of articles is no longer displayed, and only the title image and title name are visible, so the importance of title images is increasing more and more.


In that context, having people go out of their way to choose and use my images is truly an honor.

Actually, there is almost no way to know how many times your photos have been used in Min-Photo.

The only way, you could say, is through note badges.

But these are quite tricky.

Up to 100 uses, you get badges in small increments, so you can tell to some extent how many times they've been used.

However, once you pass 100, the count goes up in increments of 100, and after 500, it suddenly drops to increments of 250.

And then...
Once you pass 1,000, the notification frequency drops even further, to increments of 1,000...

You enter a state of being left alone for years, with no idea when you'll get a notification...

In the midst of that, I successfully cleared the 2,000 and 3,000 mark while waiting for the notifications.

And today, I was able to receive the 4,000-use badge.

Next is 5,000 uses.
And after that, believe it or not, 10,000 uses.

It's not just years; for some people, it could mean entering a state of being left alone for decades.

Let me try to predict future developments.

First, I reached 3,000 uses last October.

From there, it took about 200 days to reach 4,000.
(That's an average of 5 uses per day!)


Thinking about it, the next goal of 5,000 uses will probably be around November.

And after that, aiming for 10,000, there are about 4 years of patient days waiting ahead with no notifications.

It seems that if a Min-Photo contributor quits their note account, the photos themselves in Min-Photo disappear.

If I were to quit note, the title images for over 4,000 articles would vanish.

This is a big responsibility!
I have to do my best.
