What I Realized After Writing on note for 2000 Days: 'Quantity Transforms into Quality'
《2011th Consecutive Day!》
I have been writing on note for 2000 days.
Simply calculated, that is over five and a half years.
2000 days.
Honestly, I don't think this number itself has any special value.
It's not like I'm going to receive any special award for it.
But I do think there are things that aren't just about value.
Perhaps that is the 'realizations' of life.
The time and experience behind the number 2000.
I believe that has given me various realizations in my own life.
Today, I would like to share those realizations.
Talent cannot compete
The creators on note are truly amazing.
Among them are people with genius talent. Their sense of writing, the beauty of their expression, the depth of their thinking. In every one of these aspects, they are at a level that an ordinary person like me cannot compete with.
So, how can an ordinary person express themselves while mixing with such people?
In the world of note, where hundreds of thousands of posts gather in a single day.
In such an overwhelming amount of information, getting the mediocre writing I produce read is no small feat. Receiving likes and comments is also a difficult task.
That is precisely why, if someone read my article even once, I wanted them to read the next one too. I wrote with the hope that they would feel that way.
Articles that make you want to read them tomorrow and the day after.
As someone without talent, that is all I can do. All I can do is keep at it.
That led to 'steadily building things up'.

The moment quantity turns into quality
There are people who say, 'There is no point in continuing to post on note every day.'
However, I feel a bit of discomfort with this statement.
What I have felt after writing for 2000 days is that 'quantity turns into quality'.
At the start, I could only write unremarkable articles. Or rather, the writing and content were terrible.
However, as I continued to write every day, I began to see tricks, like how to get more likes if I write in a certain way, or how to increase view counts if I summarize things in a certain way. Little by little, the flow and expression of my writing improved. Before I knew it, I was able to express what I wanted to convey in my own words more accurately than before.
This change is not the result of special talent. Rather, it is something gained through accumulation.
The accumulation of effort leads to an improvement in quality. I realized this over the course of 2000 days.

The value of 'quantity' in the AI era
In recent years, the development of AI has been remarkable. AI instantly generates sophisticated text based on vast amounts of data. Its thinking ability, expressive power, and ability to summarize information have all reached a level that surpasses humans.
In other words, in terms of 'quality', it is becoming overwhelmingly impossible to beat AI.
Then, what about the 'quantity' aspect?
Of course, if it is just about gathering quantity, AI is superior.
However, AI probably cannot gather the quantity that comes with one's own real actions and emotions. It probably cannot generate it.
Writing harbors 'raw thoughts' that can only be expressed in that moment. It doesn't have to be polished writing.

Three things gained from 'quantity'
👉 Originality
What you build up over a long period of time forms a personality that is uniquely yours. That personality cannot be easily broken.
👉 Trust
Through daily accumulation, you can provide readers with a sense of security and trust.
👉 Confidence
The pride in what you have continued to do becomes confidence, supporting you throughout your life.

The power of continuing
Writing for 2000 days has been a major challenge and a great learning experience for me.
I also feel that the act of continuing itself becomes a strength.
Quantity turns into quality.
To achieve that, you must take the first step. It is important not to just think about aiming for a sudden turnaround, but to accumulate things little by little.
By doing so, you can change your future even without special talent.
Through the experience of writing on note for 2000 days, I am convinced of this.
I don't have a next goal yet, but...
I want to continue as long as I can.
I want to grow while enjoying the process.
Thank you for your continued support for Hasutsuka, who has surpassed 2000 days!

Things I can share precisely because I have continued for 2000 days.
